【在 w******n 的大作中提到】 : power level

b*e 发帖数: 3845 | 4 It's always better to ask than to pretend to know. hehe...
In Europe, it refers to grip size:
L2 == 4 1/4 grip
L3 == 4 3/8 grip
L4 == 4 1/2 grip
L5 == 4 5/8 grip
Head also use it to refer to swing style rating (or power level). For
example, My MG Prestige MP is L6. The higher the number, it means more loopy
swing or lower power.

K****D 发帖数: 30533 | 6 Ok, so for non-Head rackets, L always means the grip size?
Is there any way to know the power level of a non-Head racket
just by looking at the racket (and those numbers printed on
the side)?

Have to come back and check TW, not convenient ah.

s*********d 发帖数: 2406 | 10 Unfortunately, not way.
they use different guideline for racquet.
like prince use the power level to define the racquet
but for babolat and wilson, you have not way to see the different series.
but all the racquet all show the series for shorter,intermedated and long
swing. |

w******n 发帖数: 13172 | 11 or you can simply check the beam width, weight, balance and head size. It's
not precise, but you'll have a general idea. So if you want a more powerful
racket, you'll want it to be more heavy, more head heavy, more stiff,
thicker beam, and bigger head size.

K****D 发帖数: 30533 | 13 Still quite hard, for example, most heavy rackets are head light,
and thus even less power than a light but head heavy racket.
And they don't tell you how heavy it is or how much head light
on the racket. Really hard to determine just by looking at the
racket.
Stiffness is one easy thing to look, but I don't remember if
stiffness is printed on the racket?

L1 slowest. |
