Pheidippides indeed ran much longer than marathon: his 40km marathon run was just the last lag of his 165 mile run before and after the battle of Marathon.
The race itself received mixed review. Last year I was seriously considering attending 2010 Athens Marathon and found a lot of past runners gave it unfavorable review: Hot weather, endless uphill, dull,featureless scenery, few spectators. It

我现在才开始练。。。第二周：-）
想5月份先跑一个半马，然后再决定报不报这个
我体重算比较重的，所以跑步的时候膝盖负担挺重
不是很确定自己能不能练出来跑下来那么远，呵呵

的人口住在雅典，雅典是农业，金融和政治中心，东北边种植烟草，南部是水果和蔬菜
。可能也是为什么路线不可能太好。
如果去那边，可顺便看一下意大利和土耳其。希腊还算是发展中国家，旅游业收入占国
民收入比重最大。
