In the list, what is "for time" means?
like this one I see:
3 rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
30 Overhead squats, 75 pounds
21 Pull-ups
and this one in FAQ in crossfit.com
Angie
100 Pull-ups
100 Push-ups
100 Sit-ups
100 Squats
For Time
Complete all reps of each exercise before moving to the next.
And, who the hell can do 100 pull-ups??!!!

"For time" means recording your time to finish the whole workout so that you
can track your progress.
Pull-ups can be modified in many ways in crossfit. You can jump from a box (
not really a pullup), use a rubber band, or do the dolphin.
P.S. A big part of crossfit is working in a group. Working alone according
to "the list" won't be as good.

Is 100 squat really necessary? I mean, why stay in office for 12 hours when
your job is done at 8 hour =P

Thanks for the answer. can you explain why working in group is better? I am
guess more fun? At least that is the reason I am choosing crossfit, they
look like playing game, and each exercise doesn't take long time to finish.
One thing I can't never do good is running on the treadmill, boring as hell!!

I won't do 100 reps for any exercise. I would rather add varieties to the

I compile this list for myself to try out today. :)
box jump
pull-up
kettlebell swing
walking lunge
knee to elbow
push-up
good-morning
burpee
20 reps for each one.

You push yourself much harder in a group. Avoidance of public humiliation is
a big motivation factor.
It's more fun too, the loud music, lots of ppmm, the sound of barbells
hitting the ground. It is a good place to hike the adrenaline level.

这100 reps也不是老做。我Crossfit四个月也就轮过一次Angie。躺在地上起不来,很
有成就感。

厉害, 100个引体向上就算分100次我也做不了
今天第一次crossfit, 很累, 不过下次要改次数, 不能所有都20个, 腿部要加量, 上身
运动
量好像过多了, 20个引体过后(分两组), knee to elbow都不能一次做完(原以为很简
单)

这100 reps也不是老做。我Crossfit四个月也就轮过一次Angie。躺在地上起不来,很
有成就感。

Angie是团队合作完成的,我做过一次,一队3个人还是两个人,不记得了,反正就是把
人往死里练,心都要跳出来了。。
手都要断了。。
