Staff Auditors are assigned to a variety of duties including field
engagements that involve financial statement audits, reviews, compilations,
agreed upon procedures, single audits and attestation of internal control
standards for Sarbanes-Oxley. Building on their education, Staff Auditors
will receive on-the-job training and guidance.
In the course of performing their primary job duties, Staff Auditors are
also responsible for:
• Developing personal, professional and technical skills
• Developing an understanding of local service offerings
• Actively working toward passing the CPA Exam
• Becoming oriented with the Firm’s structure, practices, policies
and culture
• Proactively representing and promoting the Firm through the
execution of
diligent client service
• Beginning to build positive client relationships and developing
efficient work habits

to train you from fresh. What they look for more is your personality and
communication skill through behavior questions during the interview. So be
well prepared for it, practice out loud and organize you language precisely
will always be a plus.
If it's a regional firm, they may or may not focus too much on behavior
questions but more on your career plan and resume.
