很有意思的是，美国副总统讲完话后，美方安排了让中国副总理刘延东演讲，而没有
让本该排在刘延东前面的副总理汪洋演讲。而刘延东讲完话后，美国副总统没有多等
10分钟让其它人包括汪洋演讲完到会议结束，而是直接提前离开会场。
下面是讲话原文其中一小段翻译：
中国， 和其它亚洲国家一样，受益于稳定与繁荣。这里所说的稳定和繁荣，把话说白
了，就是自美国终结了第二次世界大战后的60年这段时间。在以后的几十年，我们将会
继续遵循这样的政策搞下去。 但是，（你们中国）不要不明白： 我们（美国）是太平
洋国家，我们有7,632英里的海岸横恒太平洋。 我们是太平洋国家。 如果影响到美国
的任何利益，我们将会出现在太平洋的任何地方，而且，这将会比我们在世界其它地方
都多。 从现在开始，我们是太平洋强权/power，而且我们将永远确立我们在太平洋的
强权。 做为改变，美国政府已经设定了有组织的重新平衡亚洲太平洋地区的政策性预
