真要斗争，就要聪明地斗下去。自己家里同胞间的话不一定拿去游行示威时说，喊口号
要力争引起大多数而不只是对种族主义或移民团体敏感的人的注意力。我相信有很多同

建议加一个口号 “0-tolerance to killing jokes !!!”
0-tolerance 是一个美国社会里很常用的口号，尤其是在学校里，0-tolerance to
drugs, 0-tolerance to bully, etc。另一个帖子里提到一个15岁加州女生在Times报
道里的留言提到学校里的0-tolerance to bully 很能引起学生家长们的共鸣。bullies
拿欺负人当joke是惯用借口。

Why We Have to Boycott ABC/Disney
As parents and teachers, we do our best to nurture our children. We teach
them good values, guide them in the right directions when they make mistakes
; we protect them from all harms before they are mature enough to protect
themselves. To shield young children from inappropriate contents on TV, many
parents have used the parental control features on their remote control.
Initially, I thought ABC is a family friendly TV channel whose contents do
not need to be monitored, but the Jimmy Kimmel's "Kid's round table" show on
Oct 16 proved me wrong.
In response to the question on how to pay back our debts to other nations, a
6 year old boy proposed the idea of "Killing everyone in China". Mr. Kimmel
chuckled at the answer and made the comment that this was an "interesting
idea". After leading the young guests to a debate on the feasibility of
using mass murder as a problem solving strategy, Mr. Kimmel further asked
the kids in the show "Should we allow the Chinese to live?”, to which he
got mixed answers.
I had briefly wondered how this little boy came up with the idea of “
killing everyone” in a nation. Then I realized that the “Jimmy Kimmel Live
” is not even a live show. Like all talk shows, there are hundreds of
people working behind-the-scenes. Each writer is responsible for writing
monologue jokes and each usually has an assignment for a specific guest. The
shows are recorded earlier in the day to allow enough time for necessary
editing.
Now I know that the 6 year old may not understand what he was saying, but
the adults behind the show must know what they were doing. Instead of asking
“Should we allow someone to live?”, which should not even be a question
to begin with, maybe we can ask the following questions instead: Should we
allow adults to channel messages of mass murder and genocide through a 6
year old? Should we allow our children to consider, even for a second,
killing people as a way to solve or escape from their problems? Should we
allow a TV host to expose thousands of innocent young viewers to messages of
violence and hatred? Should we allow a TV program to use race baiting to
boost a show’s popularity? Should we allow our children to suffer from all
the negative publicity, to be laughed at, to be emotionally traumatized, so
that some adults can enjoy cheap and distasteful jokes?
Enough is enough! It is time to protect our children from malicious programs
on TV. It is time to say no to the adults who attempted to mislead and use
innocent kids for their own agenda. Every day we shower our children with
love. How can we tolerate the people who purposefully delivered hate speech
that have potentially counteracted all our efforts? Until ABC issues a
formal protocol to make sure something in that vein never gets aired again,
until the company lets go of all the people who lacks basic judgment and
human decency, we are not viewing your program again. We are not creating
revenues for Disney and ABC, until you prove with your actions, that you
really endorse the values your adorable cartoon characters represent.

bridge crossing pacific. Peace dove is nice touch.

It would be good for rallies and be a nice/pretty momento for wearing
anytime we want and bears out our values and hopes. It's a good
conversation piece too.

express my deep gratitude to the local volunteer organizers and local
elected officials who supported us.
But we are far from done. Disney still need to publicly and resoundingly
reject the racist bias and subtle manipulation that precipitated a little
kid's shocking genocidal suggestion. Disney also need to publicly and
openly take responsibility for creating an environment in which this clip
was allowed to be distributed for "entertainment" purposes, an environment
that failed
to respect basic standards of decency, human dignity and nonviolence.
Now that the first rounds of rallies are over. We are moving to the next
phase of more engaged participation in community and local politics, as well
as boycotting Disney, lawsuits and the 2nd round of rallies 11/8.
Our goal is simple. We hold the media to its standard of speaking truth to
power, as well as to the masses and little kids. Zero tolerance to racism
, zero tolerance to hate speech, zero tolerance to race-baiting and race-
scapegoating bigotry. Not even for entertainment purposes.
We hold ourselves to service and participation in our communities. We hold
ourselves to mutual respect between cultures and between each other.
There are some pictures from the rallies that one look made me tear-up.

with the protesters. We will see whether he would apologize for race-
scapegoating and race-baiting, inciting young kids to propagate genocidal

There are several reason why Kimmel has to apologize and be fired:
1. Kimmel says "we owe China a lot of money, 1.3 trillion dollars"
All the kids immediately knew that "1.3 trillion" is a big number, and
launched into the bloodiest and stupidest solution possible. That is a very
strong sign of pre-paration and rehearsal of some kind.
Remember China is a 1/7 holder of US debts, why Kimmel thinks it's funny to
ask the kids about the Chinese, not the Japanese, American and other debtors?
Kimmel is clearly guilty of race-baiting and inciting racial hatred. He
either wrote the scripts or set up the 6 year olds to say something
outrageous and hateful. For Cheap laughs.
2. When the kid said, "Kill everyone in China" (to solve the debt problem),
Kimmel laughed, (someone else laughed off stage) and said it was
interesting.
NOW, that is a stronger cause of being fired. After his' race baiting, he
got the LAUGH he wanted and AIRED it. If he doesn't understand why he's
fired, he should be fired for poor judgement and incompetency. GENOCIDE is
NOT for cheap laughs, man.
3. The whole discussion continued in the same vein, with all the little
kids encouraged by the host and laughing.
NOW, Disney do you have a moral stand or what? Are you raising American
kids into kill-killers and lose-losers? Are you for diversity, equality,
win-win and human dignity? Or are you for hate speech and cheap laughter?
Disney, make your stand by FIRING Kimmel publicly with proper reason. The
Chinese is gonna be OK, but you are going to be boycotted, sued and
bankrupted if you do NOT take responsibility |

Jimmy Kimmel and the ABC network sent a very clear bad message that it was "
interesting" to kill all the people to whom you owe money. “The Kids Table

真要斗争，就要聪明地斗下去。自己家里同胞间的话不一定拿去游行示威时说，喊口号
要力争引起大多数而不只是对种族主义或移民团体敏感的人的注意力。我相信有很多同
胞和我一样，对fire不fireJK, ABC/Disney道不道歉并不真的在乎，我们更在乎的是展
示并练习我们团结起来是能make difference的。
建议加一个口号 “0-tolerance to killing jokes !!!”
0-tolerance 是一个美国社会里很常用的口号，尤其是在学校里，0-tolerance to
drugs, 0-tolerance to bully, etc。另一个帖子里提到一个15岁加州女生在Times报
道里的留言提到学校里的0-tolerance to bully 很能引起学生家长们的共鸣。bullies
拿欺负人当joke是惯用借口。

Why We Have to Boycott ABC/Disney
As parents and teachers, we do our best to nurture our children. We teach
them good values, guide them in the right directions when they make mistakes
; we protect them from all harms before they are mature enough to protect
themselves. To shield young children from inappropriate contents on TV, many
parents have used the parental control features on their remote control.
Initially, I thought ABC is a family friendly TV channel whose contents do
not need to be monitored, but the Jimmy Kimmel's "Kid's round table" show on
Oct 16 proved me wrong.
In response to the question on how to pay back our debts to other nations, a
6 year old boy proposed the idea of "Killing everyone in China". Mr. Kimmel
chuckled at the answer and made the comment that this was an "interesting
idea". After leading the young guests to a debate on the feasibility of
using mass murder as a problem solving strategy, Mr. Kimmel further asked
the kids in the show "Should we allow the Chinese to live?”, to which he
got mixed answers.
I had briefly wondered how this little boy came up with the idea of “
killing everyone” in a nation. Then I realized that the “Jimmy Kimmel Live
” is not even a live show. Like all talk shows, there are hundreds of
people working behind-the-scenes. Each writer is responsible for writing
monologue jokes and each usually has an assignment for a specific guest. The
shows are recorded earlier in the day to allow enough time for necessary
editing.
Now I know that the 6 year old may not understand what he was saying, but
the adults behind the show must know what they were doing. Instead of asking
“Should we allow someone to live?”, which should not even be a question
to begin with, maybe we can ask the following questions instead: Should we
allow adults to channel messages of mass murder and genocide through a 6
year old? Should we allow our children to consider, even for a second,
killing people as a way to solve or escape from their problems? Should we
allow a TV host to expose thousands of innocent young viewers to messages of
violence and hatred? Should we allow a TV program to use race baiting to
boost a show’s popularity? Should we allow our children to suffer from all
the negative publicity, to be laughed at, to be emotionally traumatized, so
that some adults can enjoy cheap and distasteful jokes?
Enough is enough! It is time to protect our children from malicious programs
on TV. It is time to say no to the adults who attempted to mislead and use
innocent kids for their own agenda. Every day we shower our children with
love. How can we tolerate the people who purposefully delivered hate speech
that have potentially counteracted all our efforts? Until ABC issues a
formal protocol to make sure something in that vein never gets aired again,
until the company lets go of all the people who lacks basic judgment and
human decency, we are not viewing your program again. We are not creating
revenues for Disney and ABC, until you prove with your actions, that you
really endorse the values your adorable cartoon characters represent.

It should prominently feature china and US flags, and a globe with
bridge crossing pacific. Peace dove is nice touch.
Slogan could be

It would be good for rallies and be a nice/pretty momento for wearing
anytime we want and bears out our values and hopes. It's a good
conversation piece too.
