个东西太复杂，因为这个基因有6个大小几乎一模一样的splicing variants，而且
variants之间无法用抗体分辨到底哪个是哪个（不要问我为什么，因为这个基因就是爱
玩花样）。这样就导致用哺乳动物做相关研究的话就会有很多结论搞不清楚。反复思考
之后就特意招了一个做酵母的博士后用酵母做模型来开路，然后研究生用哺乳动物跟着
酵母数据指示出来的思路来做，于是才做了出来。所以文章里面有两套数据是这个原因。
原核生物里面的这个基因和真核的有几个关键差别，而且我觉得领域里面对原核生物的
这个基因下的结论也过于轻率，但如果我要去涉及的话又要得罪更多的人。我现在还没

现在是在美国第二年，暑假刚进实验室做research（现在同时干TA，没拿老板一分钱）
，但是现在决定转专业转校申请master，犹豫是否需要把目前做的研究的经历写到申请
材料里面，貌似申请master不看重研究经历（本来也还没有干出什么成果来）。
我现在暂时还没有跟老板谈话，准备白干一年（靠ta挣钱）明年春天做好决定再找老板
谈。我现在担心，万一申请材料里面写了现在的实验室信息，对方学校有可能会打电话
给现在的老板询问情况吗？

Morris的这本书我是第二次读了。我的感想是：作为初读，一下子无法记住那么多模式
。最实际的方法就是记住几种常用的模式，这不超过10种。比如evening star,
morning star, hanging man, hammer, Doji，等等。熟悉了之后，开始第二遍读，然
后再了解更多的模式和相关的variants。另外我上面这本书还有专门的练习册，这也是
我选这本书的原因。
其实蜡烛图有不少缺陷。第一个缺陷就是它的分析需要结合量。如果不结合量（以及不
结合大的趋势），分析常常不靠谱。第二个缺陷是蜡烛图忽视了股票数据是有巨大的噪
声的（传统的TA方法也都忽视了这个问题）。所以这也是为什么蜡烛图里的模式总共有

最新很郁闷，希望大家指点。
大致情况是，作为码工，之前心比较大，一个人拉起来一个新项目(跟ml infra相关具
体就不多说了)，其中也得到了公司中层的口头支持(除了不给人手)，所以自己一个人
干两三个人的活，加班加点，60-70h/week甚至更多都很正常。顶目中前期也还挺受关
注似乎也有些前景，但是第一个major milestone各种原因各种不顺利一直往拖了几个
月。我们是metrics driven的公司，顶目的效果在metrics上反映出来总是有一点点不
理想。现在的情况，甚至可能还会继续拖下去。
这就很沮丧了，加班加点干牛干马牺牲不少，自己纯干活的能力也算比较强，出活速度
质量自认为也是不错的。换来这样一个结果。觉得很悲催。postmortem就不说了，经验

软工的那些skill，比如什么c++ multithread programming, distributed system, 等
等的，对于can someone else
be trained within 6 months to perform the task? why or why not? 这类填表的问
题该怎么回答呢？
另外就是，past employment里面列出来的以前在中国的intern或者是RA的经历，以后
都一定会有人打电
