1, run slow to improve your LT threshold, marathon is all about LT threshold
.
2, 70-75% of HRmax is the perfect zone to train your LT threshold, slow
twitch muscle fibers and mitochondria
3, when you train at a faster pace, then you do not engage your slow twitch
fibers, in stead , you are working on your fast twitch fibers which is way
less efficient.
