都说明了Leucyl-tRNA Synthetase and TORC1 的联系
cell文章证明了他是一个GAP for Rag GTPase

污染，但也看到好几个tRNA synthetase，而且peptide＃都挺高。
后悔没有做一个control IP。请问一下tRNA synthetase是经常看到的污染吗，多谢！ |

发帖数: 28562 | 11 关于常山对疟原虫的疗效，正好今年在 Science Translational Medicine 上面有一篇
文章。
应该指出的是，常山即使在中药里，也是被视为一种虎狼之药的，因为其副作用太大，
属于在迫不得已的情况下才会用的药（疟疾在古代算是迫不得已的病情了）。但是它对
疟原虫的确是有效果的，这个也是不能否认的。葛洪收集的那个方子里，42个方子中有
14个还是13个是用这个常山的，这个可以说明那些方子并不是完全胡说八道的。

authors are from OSU, Dept. of Microbiology. basically, they
described the finding of genes encoding an unusual tRNA with
CUA anticodon (pylT) and an adjencent gene encoding atypical
aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (pylS) in Methanosarcina and another
Gram-positive bacteria. these genes are probably cotranscribed.
the tRNA encoded by pylT has unusual 2nd structure that is
different to common tRNA, and the anti-codon is complementary

I am having trouble with the simple tRNA aminoacylation reaction where E.
coli crude tRNA, E. coli S100 and 3H-Glu were added together with the AA
buffer and ATP. No charged tRNA could be detected. S100 and crude tRNA mix
have been tested to be active before in a similar experiment. The positive
control using Glu tRNA and active Glu -tRNA synthetase also didn't work. Is
anybody familiar with this reaction and suggest some possible reasons?

北生所研究员马力耕曾在2007年于science上发表一篇文章，声称发现一种GPCR（GCR2
）是植物脱落酸的受体，非常轰动。但是刚一发表，立即引来植物研究领域的一片质疑
。大部分人都认为GCR2不是GPCR，植物中根本不存在GPCR，因为植物中G蛋白是自激活
的，不需要GPCR。有一个叫Jingui Chen的教授对马的结果质疑声最大，他通过序列比
对发现GCR2与lanthionine synthetase component C的同源性非常高，随后的实验又表
明GCR2主要存在于细胞质中，某些情况下可以附着到膜表面，但绝非7次跨膜的GPCR。
这个争论一直都没有停止，最近plant physiology上有一篇文章：“Round Up the

他本来就属于Lanthionine synthetase C-like protein
即使没有结构，他也是这个分类，不可能是GPCR
很多预测还是很准的
比如大家熟悉的Tet1，彻头彻尾分析预测出来的 |

5-fluorouracil, which is an antimetabolite and an isostere of uracil. 5FU和
uracil 结构相似，结合thymidylate synthetase这个酶而且是不可逆转的(
irreversible),然后就不能合thymidylic acid,继而也 不能合成DNA了。属于
irreversible reaction coordinate inhibitors. |
