individual situation. I ask these questions because my current company is kind
of stingy on everything although it's a big company, and I was not fully
aware this kind of "culture".
That's why I want to know Intel's salary and benefits. Maybe I should ask if
you are satisfied with your income and benefits compared to the similar
positions in other companies.

Look at your marginal rate, for a typical SV engineer family, it is 25%
federal, and 9.x% state. if you trigger amt, it is at least 26% federal, and
most likely 34.5% federal due to amt exemption phaseout. (google it if you
do not know what it means to be amt exemption phaseout)
That beats coupon/deal easily.
And you do not have to buy anything. No one calls you stingy if you save on
tax.
