我的case和经历非常特殊，在sponsorship上对大家真的没有什么可以借鉴的，我只能
说非常幸运。当然无外乎忽悠好老板忽悠好单位，也许你也可以。
的确也有为蔡律师打广告的嫌疑，呵呵，不过这么弱的case能这么顺利，除了遇上好的
IO，他的帮助也是很关键的，条件这么弱，包装就更加重要了。
希望的是能给大家打打气，大家为了身份都不容易。

H1B sponsorship（某人要自己转换去H4). 一个是继续呆在payroll上3个月，每两星期
发一次工资，三个月之后自动合同和sponsorship结束，期间要是找到其他工作，那么
工资就不再发了。
我的疑问是这第二个选项确实可行么？H1B应该是建立在work full time的基础上的吧
。只是有payroll这按理也不满足劳动部LCA要求吧。 |

我跟未来老板说了work sponsorship（其实我是指H1B)对我很重要，希望他们确定能支
持。他回复说：In regards to the sponsorship, yes we can extend more than the
first year as well.
我感觉这中间有点误解。好像他们的意思是H1B会支持一直抽签，绿卡暂时不保证。所
以offer letter中这个immigration status意思是绿卡(EB2/3，EB1B)。
不知道我的理解对不对啊？ |

Questionnaire, 而且7天之内必须回复， 可是公司的HR说跟们没收到DOL的邮件，
律师说这个邮件DOL一个星期前就给公司发了。

没有合法的理由（比如需要security clearance，或者是中小学教师或警察这类最高法
院裁定歧视合法的职位），在公民/绿卡/其他各种不同种类的工作许可之间进行歧视是
违法的。一般的工作雇主只能问是否可以在没有sponsorship的前提下合法工作，你回
答是，他们就不能再深究了，否则就违法了。入职时使用什么文件进行I-9验证是你自
己的选择，只要你出具的文件符合I-9的要求，雇主不能在不同的文件之间进行歧视，
也不能拒绝进行I-9验证。
当然到时雇主不出具J表是你要承担的风险。 |

There were no written rules about 60 days grace period. I was lucky enough
to get my new H1B.
It's easier to get H1B transfer then getting a green card sponsorship,
because less paper work is involved.
So I would recommend you to find a company that you would willing to work
for long period, then after 2~3 years ask for green card sponsorship.

Barry Goldwater开始经营右派阵营，拉拢南方福音派和social conservative。现在的
民主党和共和党都是大杂烩党。共和党主要是工商派和社会保守派的结合体。工商派如
Mitt Romney，Orrin Hatch等对EB其实是友好的，因为business friendly。但是共和
党里也有很大一部分人是不管什么B，只要是移民就不喜欢。民主党里的蓝领工人实际
上是反移民的。Bernie Sanders就对移民一直保持了很谨慎的态度，去年primary期间
迫于压力才开始支持Comprehensive Immigration Reform。
把共和党或民主党片面归结成挺移民/反移民都只是非常片面的political rhetoric。
首先，看sponsorship没有毛线用。这只是国会议员左右逢源，不付政治代价换取好感
的惯用手段。因为很多bill的sponsorship>50%也不会真正投票，而真正投票时议员投
自己sponsor的法案反对票也比比皆是。

一般的雇主最多只会问你需不需要sponsorship. 你回答，NO，自己可以合法工作，也
有合法的身份即可。
如果雇主再问你是否有绿卡，你说没有，但是你和你的配偶绿卡在排期，你不需要他的
sponsorship可以自己合法工作。对于绝大多数的雇主来说，基本就够了。
H4 EAD的申请， 不是H4 EAD卡， 是否两年内取消目前谁也不知道，包括USCIS自己都
不知道！！！
如果你是2018年年底毕业，等年底基本就知道答案了。现在是瞎操心！ |

好像别无选择, 偶刚来的时候先是要求换别的
保险公司,被否定,然后偶说不买Extra,但是偶说的
别当作没有说.最后发现偶就是被要求不许考虑

IMAN保险的品种全,服务好.但是大多要先交钱,
然后你向IMAN 去claim.
保险费价格也很好,个人保险(single policy) 2300左右,
家庭的(family policy)A$4600左右一年,这是最近的
价格(2003年).因为你付出的多,我在这里就主要讨论
怎么样利用保险.其次是和报税相关的牢骚.

为加拿大公民找工作不用H1B sponsorship找个Technician呀、Chemist这种position应
该不难，而且这边片地都是化验所药厂什么的。不知道是不是经济不好的缘故，还是身
