Seven segments of Cardan》。卡丹被誉为16世纪的博学者，拥有数学家、物理学家、
医药学家、天文学家、及术士等多个头衔。在他的有生之年，他出版了多达54本着作和
44件手稿，内容涉及了他研究的各个领域。占星警句讲的是星盘分析的一些规则和条文
，按条目的方式列出，分为总论篇、命盘篇、推运篇、医疗篇、择时篇、蚀彗篇、气候
篇、农作篇、实事篇等9部分，论及范围着实广泛。不过，如果以条文的数目来看，命
盘篇是核心部分，共计100条，其它篇的内容相对少很多，可能是与删节有关。
在历史上的顶级占星名家中，还没有Cardan的位置，不知是不是他学识太杂的原因，
很多谈及他的资料均是与数学、人文科学或玄学相关，占星作为玄学，只是他学识中的
一小部分。根据有关资料的判断，占星警句很可能是他汇编成文的，其中有不少条文内
容是值得我们深入思考和借鉴的。

8、注意月亮离开此星座, 所形成的最后主交角
Besiegement
当月亮前一个交角是凶星, 且是凶相. 而后一个交角也是凶星, 且是凶相. 传统上认为
, 火星及土星为凶星, 现代则天王冥王也算, 海王次之. 月亮前一个交角不好, 表示问
占者已面临困难, 下一个交角又不好, 表是困难根本就没度过. 换言之, 这个问题是困
难重重. 有些占星家扩张Besieged Moon 到征象星上.
Debility
当行星的位置难以展现其本质时. 例如入落陷星座, 被凶星刑冲到, 逆行等等. 表示此
行星的力量被弱化, 难以发挥.

命主有工作职业的状况：
一、针对水星、金星、火星三颗星体来论。火星给予肉体耐久力，水星给予智慧 金星
给予愉悦。

海归人士大谈国内比国外如何如何好，其实这个“好”也蛮因人而异。我就觉得国外有
如下几点国内没法替代：
1. 外文书。我这几年从未接触过一本中文书：近代出版的无论学术、生活、励志等中
文书都很垃圾，偶不愿意看。宁可看买卖提的灌水文章都比中文书来得好玩，更生活。
国内的书店基本都是卖中文书，原版书也就一些古典类的比较容易找到，新的
bestsellers几乎没有，学术类的更不用说了，n年以后才会引进一些经典的影印版。
没有好的精神食粮，生活的乐趣就要失去一大部分，回国就是意味着和优秀精神资源的
隔绝。
2. 画展、音乐会、歌剧音乐剧等娱乐资源匮乏。北京上海有不少，但是一点不平民：
价格贵的出奇，纯粹国外乐团来敲诈中国人的。不像在美国，随便想听个音乐会，看个
戏剧，跟吃米一样简单、廉价。我甚至不用专门去音乐厅，经常同学几个排三重奏、四
重奏就约我过去听。

比如, huge improve，到底怎么improve了，比如如何提高网络性能，产生了何种效益？
如同你卖东西，光说我的东西张三说好。然后呢？怎么个好法？别人还是一头雾水。
作者引用也是类似。Dr. XXX 引用了你的成果，然后呢？应该是Dr. XXX用了你的成果，
得出某某重要成果。但是这种重要成果没有你的work，肯定是得不到的，以后的resear
ch 也是玩不转的。这样一写，你的工作的重要性就表现出来了。光在那里列表，如何展
现significant impact?contribution的申请里，original contribution 和 signific
ant impact 同等重要。contribution 强调 original. impact 突出 significant. |

influenced the recommemder). The recommender can briefly mention that you
have signifant contributions in other aspects (in a short paragph or just
one sentence or two). For independent recommenders, focusing on one aspect
will be enough.
If you have your PhD advisor's or current boss's letter, that letter can be
a little longer and covers everything (3-4 pages maybe). |

区分他引自饮，这个被要求提交他引，自饮不到40。
老三项authorship,contribution and review
只有review met，另外两项要提供证据。其中best paper award 和 travel award被列
在第一项说不符合，尽管没有claim。AIAA membership被列在第二项，说不符合标准，
尽管也没claim。估计这个是RFE的最基本套路，如果整体不符合，每一项潜在的都被单
独列出。

文章很一般，一共10+，发过小领域内的top的杂志4篇，只有一篇是1座，其他都是二作
。citation总共才80（95%他引），而且比较分散，最多的一篇也没上20. 估计就是做
个列表和油灯图，在这上面做文章希望不大。
关于contribution 的major signifance：
以前paper里面的一个东西被业内最大的试剂公司商业化了，该试剂公司网页也有。
不知道这个能不能挖掘一下？
但是这个试剂商业化后估计也没多少人用，是不是去追查销量多少反而对自己不利？
另外，把薄厚学校和现公司的ranking说一下，这个会有正面帮助吗？谢谢！ |

先看到说唐骏是loser，我估计作者大概是超级牛人，至少我知道的能爬到唐骏这个位
置和挣到他这些钱的人不是很多，比他道德高尚的可能有很多，但如果给这些人一个机
会，让他们放弃道德，选择唐骏一样的名利，估计有相当一部分人会趋之若鹜，唯恐落

我猜唐骏去微软的时候没说自己是加州理工的，估计微软要他也不是因为他毕业的学校

楣，谁让咱中国人看重这个呢。其实也就是“我祖上。。。， 我朋友。。。”一样的
white lie而已。
那些在这里骂唐骏的人估计道德都很高尚，从来不会为了自己的私利撒谎，当初申请F1

Yesterday we reported that Sega was releasing a patch for the PlayStation 3
version of Bayonetta, to alleviate load times. Well, it turns out that's not
entirely true.
Sega has confirmed that the patch was neither created by them nor Platinum
Games, and was instead put together by Sony themselves.
The online update comes in at 135MB in size, and will allow you to install 4
.5GB of data to the PS3's hard drive. This is said to improve load times

usion及 krautrock，流行音樂已經和一個世紀前的古典音樂一樣，開始走上「超人」與
「非人」的方向。
不再在意「唱什麼」，也就是從表意 (signification) 變為各自表述 (signifying) ；
聽者好像聽到了什麼──演奏者/演唱者無限擴大的存在感，但又好像什麼也沒聽到。
現代樂手以樂器和歌聲作為召喚的工具，這種召喚不僅是宗教的，也是情色的：樂器歌
聲是法器與權杖，也是陽具和子宮。聽者自願被催眠、麻醉、插入、包裹，以放棄外在
的理性來換取內在的快感和安全感。抽離意義的歌詞成了咒語，不再與外在的語言脈絡
相關。
那麼，我們可以說：音樂一開始是人類用來輔助語言建立理性的工具──它約束/過濾因
慾望產生的噪音，使自身成為理性的放大器；然而隨著理性崩壞，現在的音樂反而成了
非理性的放大器──噪音不再受理性的約束，而許許多多的個人噪音，已成為當今全人
類的無邊喧囂。
