In the English version of the Bible the name "Lucifer" appears only one time
, in Isaiah 14:12. This verse reads:
"How are you fallen from heaven, O LUCIFER, son of the morning..." (Isaiah

Lilith）最早出现于苏美尔神话，亦同时记载于犹太教的拉比文学。她被指为《旧约》
里亚当的第一个妻子，由上帝用泥土所造。因不满上帝而离开伊甸园。她也被记载为撒
旦的情人、夜之魔女，也是法力高强的女巫，并教导该隐如何利用鲜血产生力量以供己
用。传说与吸血鬼的起源有关。
虽然以上有关莉莉斯的记载未见于《圣经·创世记》，但有学者认为我们仍然可以
在创世记部份章节和旧约其他部分看到有关的莉莉斯痕迹。
在喀巴拉（犹太神秘主义）的信仰中，莉莉斯也被作为堕落天使Samael的妻子，被
