就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，
不过用promotion code (X2B-C8B-A94) 依然可以减少$2。
现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

最后得出的结论是，右拐yield sign只yield oncoming traffic，原话：
IF the left-turner is already in the intersection, that right-turning
traffic must yield IF there is a yield sign.
也就是说left-turner无论如何是要yield 右拐，yield这个牌子是不负责让开车的人去
判断相反方向是什么信号灯（否则就设置stop sign或者红灯），而是注意是否自己右
拐的那一刻安全。
直行绿灯左拐是一定要让行，这里和全国交规是一致的
至于GA为什么经常会有左拐的人一直认为自己有优先权，有人说是driver lesson
badly taught，还有GA长的居民说最近十年GA出现越来越多右拐让直行的现象，所以（
原话）"more left turners assuming the right turners will yield, so they go
very quickly!"

事情是这样的，昨天下午下班，在一个路口向右转的时候，因为前面堵车，就利用了自
行车道从旁边开了一段距离右转了，然后就被警察叫停了。被警察拦下之后，俺是一脸
的迷茫，不知道哪里出问题了，问警察，警察说俺不应该在自行车道上开，给的罚单是
VC 21209(a) motor vehicle in bicycle lane, 具体罚多少钱他也不知道，说是上了
法庭看法官怎么判。
俺很和气的和这位警察先生说很多人都是这么干的，而且我前面就有一辆车是这样开的
，俺只不过是跟在那车的后面。那警察先生说，这就是我为什么要呆在那里的原因（警
察局是不是饿晕了，连这个都蹲点抓？！）。

，California State University等各个大学的Pavement研究和相关研究中心，例如
UCPRC 等。另外主要作Structure和 Geotechnical 相关研究。但最好在简历中提到
Pavement experience，多少要有点。
想进政府工作混清闲，或者今后想做Faculty,想了解政府如何审批管理项目的同志们可
以下手了。这个职位不做具体研究，但会把握今后研究方向：评审Proposal, 和各校教授
Negotiate项目，和管理研究项目。
收入：如果有加州PE一年11.5万左右（明年大涨工资之后），还有Pension，因为最近
政府和工会PECG contact变化，Pension不如以前，大概25年之后拿最高工资70%—100%。

故事：
晚上10点30分去机场接同事，就要到他家所在小区的时候被埋伏在路边的警察抓了。理
由是double yellow lines不能U turn，具体路况见附件图片。蓝色箭头是我行车路线
；红方块是警车潜伏处；红色条柱是现在路中间有的隔离杆。他给开的code 是21651b
，收到罚单是$405。
我想argue一下几点：
A、罚单code有误: 应该是21651a，而不是21651b。a要比b轻得多，估计能少罚一半。b
貌似是走到双向车道的逆行错误车道，而a2写的是不能U turn，所以应该是a。

，应该是所有外国驾照都适合。所谓的“国际驾照”在这里行不通，不被承认。
