很明显abstract讲的和WSJ讲的不一样。原因在NBER文章和wsj的article目标读者不一
样。NBER的文章讲有3个recession不一样，WSJ讲就2008的recession和以前不一样。
再看NBER文章里面的Table 2，1880-2011年的recession中有housing bust的只有1927-
1929，1933-1937，和2008这一次，从这个数据和文章的abstract就可以看出，NBER这
篇文章很难和WSJ的评论联系在一起，NBER因为是给研究者读的，很多是Ph.D.做教授的
,所以文章写的更严谨一点，结论下的更小心。而WSJ的评论确实偏离了文章的本意，当
然WSJ的target reader完全是没有时间看原文的。

为何现在想要用这些碟重装vista，为何在第一张盘启动后第一步安装要求插入ope
rating system recovery disc1，但没有这张盘；
而插入product recovery disc1,不认，点否定后跳过system安装，进入下一步安装
software时则认出product recovery disc1。
这是怎么回事？我少刻录了一张盘？ |

Clock recovery一般是指的数字基带信号的时钟恢复。
Frequency recovery一般是指RF receiver里面从接收的信号里面
恢复传输方的频率，以便于coherent detection。
如果你面试的是一个RF公司，那他们很可能是指的frequency
recovery。
Frequency recovery可以用multiply/filter/divide或者Costas
loop方法实现，一个Costas loop就是个变相的PLL，不过有
两条feed-forward path。要注意的是保持这两个path的相位延迟

USB3.0的USB drive。
现在recovery需要16GB的空间，但16GB的USB stick大多是USB3.0的，但市面上很多计
算机的UEFI/BIOS不支持USB3.0的recovery media, 你要么用USB2.0的stick,要么用DVD
光盘，早期的UEFI/BIOS甚至连bluray都不支持。
现在市面上只有很少的机器支持USB3.0的media进行recovery, 比如，Sony全线不支持
USB3.0，thinkpad只有最近的才支持。
这其实不是厂家的错，其实是microsoft的错，具体的说,任何带独立winodwsRE分区的
笔记本都不支持USB3.0的recovery media, 只有windowsRE和recovery共享的才支持。
你现在要没备份老硬盘上的分区的话，只能用diskpart手动恢复，付我5000伪币我给你

It's not worth it to push your body on a recovery day. While it's great that you did one 6 minute mile, you could have done, maybe 3 x 6 minute miles on a good day in speed work. Instead, you did it on a recovery day and you won't be able to run as high a quality the next day.

I got the pulled calf injury only due to a 2-mile recovery run, four days
after the race. So we have to be really careful. What Baiji did can give us
a positive example of how to do the right recovery after a FM race.

it is better to mix it with cross training. Elite runners have much higher
training volume than us. They can do both cross training and recovery run on
the same day. While for us in general, it is not realistic to do both. I
would rather do cross training than recovery run as it uses different muscle
group. But, that is just my opinion.

google到的instruction里，只有一个提到这点。具体点说，我的机器原盘是GPT，bios
原厂设置是legacy mode。然后用win8自带的tool创建usb recovery media（copy OEM
hidden recovery partition). 然后什么都没改，用usb recovery media恢复系统到新
ssd上(128GB,也比原盘小)。系统提示说恢复成功，但重启后ssd不能boot。反复试了几
次都不成功，最后google到前面说的文章，把bios设置成uefi only，再用usb
recovery就成功了。 |

昨天跑了tempo，今天照理就是 recovery 了， 晚上快9点了，就按照小于130BPM来跑

跑了不到3迈，突然觉得非常饿，浑身出汗，虚的很；心跳下降到 122了。 坚持跑了一

就是为了recovery, 而不是为了training了...
至于recovery可以慢到多少，的确无所谓，走路都行，一般人就是jogging个4,5迈吧，
这个主要对跑double的人来说的，大多数普通人都是一天一练，甚至几天一练的，根本
就没有神马recovery run的意义...
专业训练长跑的一个共识：
10mi run的效果远好于5mi x 2, 周mileage不到70的也没啥必要跑double..
当然对于没法一次跑10mi的人来说，5mi x2 总好过只跑5mi..
如果本身mileage就不高，当然速度就更不能太慢了，其它不跑的时候就是在recover了

recovery in SQL server. Without proper backup tail-log before restore/
recover, no matter how often you do transaction log backup, you can not do a
COMPLETE recovery. Isn't that true?
In Oracle, when we do complete recovery, we don't need the extra step of
backup the active log ( i.e. online redo log in Oracle).
