题记：曹明华是我多年老朋友，目前在美国工作。不久前方舟子批评了曹明华，内
容主要针对曹明华两年前在国内出版的一本书《生命科学手记》，但批评涉及面超出了
这本书本身。最近，曹明华写了一篇回应文章，原标题为《回答方舟子》。原文较长，
我略作了些删改，转帖在这里。现标题是我改的，目的是醒目些。以下是曹明华的文字：

看到John J. Brennan先生2006年12月的文章The return of simplcity。Brennan先生

当时我,还真是有些内疚,听见office manager说有可能消防员要来,然后疏散整个
building的人,我有点觉得自己捅炉子了.
唉,故事从我这个office的drama queen说起,今天中午,其实有client给我们送了pizza,
但是我决定在吃pizza之前先吃点开胃的,就把自己在costco买的却quesadillas热一热
先吃,我放在微波炉里,电机了一下cook potato的选择,就去上网了,等了一会,我打开微
波炉,发现cheese都没留出来,就有安乐一次cook potato的按钮,然后又去上网了,其间
我听见同事说什么问道这么难闻,说是我的食物,我觉得这么picky,就没看,继续上网,等

我也从来没说过sweet potato叫“香芋”“山药”--香芋taro, 山药不知道英文，但是
是那个煲汤

发帖数: 221 | 48 来美之前，看好莱坞的电影，就知道老美们似乎节日的时候都喜欢吃火鸡，特别是感恩节。以前对这种大型的鸡实在是没什么感觉，毕竟在国内不常见。后来来了美国，过了几次的“火鸡节”，都是去朋友家。朋友也是一“懒人”，都是safeway直接买的一套火鸡套餐。说实在的，还是对火鸡没什么感觉。而且，说真的，火鸡也确实不太合我的胃口。
今年有了自己的家庭，终于有了一个不豪华但也算是宽敞的厨房。于是对烹饪的兴趣高速增长。又或许是年龄到了，对衣服，化妆品之类的东西兴趣大减，反而迷上了烹饪。败了好多厨房用品，当然，我觉得数量还是很有限的。所以明天我决定血拼我的烹饪用品。先来一大套锅子组合，再来一套好的刀具，还有漂亮的碗碟什么的。总之，我的厨娘生活现在才开始。
家里人都对火鸡不感冒，可是毕竟是火鸡节，无论如何还是要弄只火鸡来应节的。我在网上做了好几天的研究，发现了这么一个方子。我觉得挺简单的，材料啥的在一般的美国grocery store就能找到。在youtube上的一个片子。我把link放在下面，大家感兴趣的也可以自己试试。

mm有没有用什么架子？我今天才知道，老美烤火鸡都是架在架子上的。。。
俺家的每次出来，底部的都泡在汤里了，导致卖相很差，不过泡过汤的味道更不错~
