I would like to find a swimming school for my 9-year-old in summer at
Potomac. She won't go to any teams in the future (she has other activities),
just want to find a good group lesson in summer that she can develop her
swimming skills with correct posture.
For us, the most important factors are location and cost.

nkmm现在定点球已经开始趋向稳定了,球感比2,3个月前好了不少,高球不会打空气,
吊球轨迹也比较靠谱,不过现在最大的问题就是跑动起来的话,技术动作就完全变形,以至出球比定点差不少。
实施了不少步法的练习,发现效果不太大,有可能是我本身就教错了。不过觉得nkmm的
左脚明显比右脚发挥的作用少很多,经常觉得都是右脚拖着左脚动,很多接球看见左脚
还是直着地凌空的。。。
还有觉得nkmm重心不太稳,导致移动的时候步法也不稳,有什么方法和要点可以改进呢?
听说周指会花不少时间教左手posture的问题,现在我觉得nkmm左手的姿态不太协调,
引拍时左手上举,手部成“我不要”的样子,而且肌肉挺紧张的,就是整个动作看起来
,也挺nervous的,这个神经紧张的情况在跑步法里面也出现,3步的步法,看上去脚步
很nervous,实际dance了不只三次。
大家有什么意见? 上过郭班和周班的大家,分享一下你们的心得吧,l

There seem to be two kinds of preparation postures for badminton overhead
shots, one is that the racquets and arms points to the sky and is vertical
with the ground, the other kind is that the racquet is 45 degrees with the
ground, and the racquet face faces the ground. What's the difference/
advantages of these styles?

I can tell his right shoulder turned back, but still can't tell how he hit
the bird. Supposedly he can only hit backhand from that posture. Maybe using
lower arm and wrist flick.

You should be careful. If not corrected, you may end up with lifelong knee
problem.
* Warm up before play.
* Make sure your knee doesn't go beyond your feet when lounging forward. The
forward momentum should be absorbed by your feet and leg muscles, but if
your posture is wrong, your knee ends up with lots of stress on it.
* Do specific exercise to strengthen your leg muscles
* Buy good insoles for your shoes. I like Superfeet insoles.

The handlebar was only lowered for about 2cm. The position difference
largely came from a lowered shoulder and chin -- my neck got stronger over
the past year so I can hold the chin-low-and-out posture longer.
Also, the Bell helmet has a much lower profile than the LG.
I will see when I start the TT season.

the first 45 minutes I sweat like crazy but when the balance posture come up
, I don't sweat nearly as much, for me, the first 45 is like cardio, then
the rest is like stretching,
the most difficult part of Chinese food to cut is rice, noodle, dumplings
for me, they are easy carbs but so difficult to resist, I was pretty bad in
April on the diet so may try to cut back this month,

guys in the video except wheel, just don't know why it was so tight
yesterday,
today I did chest and shoulder with abs X, right now I feel that I should do core every week, because in coresyn, you basically will do at least 100 push ups, which is like half of the chest workout

我平时球类较多,想试试kettlebell帮助更好体会全身发力的感觉(从脚到腰到手)。
看了一下Steve Cotter的网站,说snatch和russian military press最适用。我现在计
划在dragon door上先买一个35lb的试试。有几个问题:
1. 主要的担心是因为动作不对腰部受伤和训练不得法导致效率不高。打算把你在版上
推荐的enter the kettelbell书找来看看。不知道是不是就够了,还是最好找到DVD或
是请kettlebell的trainer指导。
有别的什么特别需要注意的吗?看youtube上的示范snatch最开始swing上身也会轻微前
倾,感觉很难一直保持neutral posture?
2. 家里是木地板,不会容易砸坏吧,出去更难找到合适的地方。
非常感谢!
我平时运动较多,但很少专门的力量训练。最近在用abs rollout和stir the pot练腰
腹力量。

成人后会长高大多不可信。人在一天中的身高有1到3厘米的差别,早上时最高,
测量时间的不同,可能会解释成人增高的现象。
另外,健身后,人的姿态(posture)改善,显得挺胸直背。肥肉少了,肌肉多了,
同样身高体重人的截面反而小了,视觉上就觉得高了。
你的血液指标很好,常年健身的好处。

clean& jerk, snatch are highly technical over head lifts.
beginner must learn the proper form before doing volume reps.
depends on the goal of 健身. i think one alternative to KB is just to the
most natural motions we were born to do. use fitness routine to mimic
martial arts practitioners, such as punches, kicks, runs, jumps, rotation,
posture stability, etc. with or without resistance. you can try to do a
series of punchs or kics, after 1 min or 2, you will get sweaty all over
place.

agree. powerful explosive moves is definitely at top tier of atheleticsm/
fitness.
it but requires much higher level techniques and adequate level of max
strength to hold proper posture, also harder to manage the training intensity. which means high level of risk of injury.
because with ballistic move, even a medium meight during slow move can often
create 1RM situation for a person during fast move.

butt:只记得最后一组动作手掌撑地全蹲然后屁股往上抬,看起来很简单其实很痛苦
push up
bicep:卧推
cardio
tricep: dip和lounge手臂90度往后举
bicep:curl,bar+哑铃
core:背垫子上身体往后45度,腿弯曲,rotate,这个对协调要求也很高
还有一个手臂撑地上,躯干跟地平行,用core推动躯干前后平移
今天拿了18lb的bar和8lb的哑铃

我觉得不好, 首先8min abs涉及太多lumbar spine的运动, 即使是有经验的训练者也有
可能受伤, 第一次做腰酸背疼证明受伤
的可能性更大. 再就是忽略了对抗肌群 (lower back) 的训练, 即使练出了腹肌, 对身体也是不好的. 躯干上的肌肉要一
对一对的练, 不然对posture会有影响.
我建议做各种plank.

我觉得瑜伽的拉伸时间长,而且一直保持posture,不容易拉伤,还有就是stretch的时候,很难拉伸到脊椎,瑜伽里面很多动作都能拉脊椎。。。

No, I just take some from it and modify my workout. My level doesn't suit
5x5 yet. I tried 95lbs. I asked a trainer showed me the right way. He
basically said the same thing as I read from stronglift. Then I did a set
under his watch. He said my form was correct and asked me "Is this really
the first time you do squat?" I said "Yes". I didn't tell him that I already
did it in my mind many times.
My upper back (close to neck) is still sore as my posture is bad and my

不平衡的话form会坏掉的. 我的问题是lordosis缺失, posture差, 从小就腰疼...现在
的训练主要就是要把lordosis找回来.
