what. Greinke is not mentally tough enough. I watched the one game playoff
between Min and KC last season, Greinke pitched scared and lost the game...4
ER in 6 Innings, 96 pitches. To me, he is not the pitcher I will choose
when the game is on the line...not even close.

among Clayton Kershaw, Cliff Lee, and Roy Halladay. Arguments
can be made for anyone. In terms of ERA+, Halladay ties with Lee
at 159 with Kershaw @ 155. This was before today.
Today, Halladay pitched his 9th CG and first SO this season.
Kershaw is also pitching a gem, 5 innings of one hit game so far.
Tomorrow it is Cliff Lee's turn.

around Freese, the game would still be a close one. So it's totally
manager's fault. Trailing 4-6 in the 3rd inning is not a big deal.
With 1 out, slow Molina following, it was a no-brainer to walk Freese.
That double plus IBB to Molina opened the door for Cards.
And there is no need to start Gallardo on game 6. Narveson should
be fine if the manager did his homework.

主要训练目标是1）击球姿势和击球，最好打到外围。2）接球，接地滚球和非常高的球
。 3）传球，姿势用全身牵引手臂，要准确传回base。 4) 跑垒,这个学规则了,什么时
候跑,什么时候守,以免出局. 其他的就是要注意力集中,别站着看天,踢土玩. 每一项做
好都不容易啊.
下个赛季开始minor league, kid pitch. 据说每个孩子都要pitch, 然后看谁愿意谁投
的好,再选出投球手.投球姿势不知道是不是要求要和MLB一样, 估计也得正规点吧. 反
正到时候球乱飞,strike out 会很多. |

The long and hard battle never materialized. CC's team won on just 3 1/2

另外需要说明的是，我的Driver不稳，而这次还挺争气。。。呵呵。。。 还有，我上
两周没打球，也没去 Driving Range 。。。只在后院pitching 。。。 这次 pitching
很不错，很多球 pitch 得很近 。。。 是不是说明光是狂练也不见得有效果呢？ |

That's almost true for a lot of alpine rocks. If you need to place pros for
every pitch, it takes forever to finish some routes. Free solo and simul
climb are the key to speed. You need to know your skill level and
comfortable zone though.
Also, efficiency is very important, such as rope management, gear racking/
reracking, anchor building... If you can save 5 minutes for each pitch, you
save more than one hour for a 20-pitch route |

了两个pitch，但都是很经典的pitch。Gernimo吃绳子吃gear真厉害，90年代才FA的路
线，前两个pitch我们看到了两个卡在里面出不来的nuts，两个cam，一推sling，下撤
的时候我们前面组的绳子就卡住了，然后石头缝里还有些卡住被割断的绳子。还好我们
最后没有卡绳子。呼~ |

1)有长路线（超过60m的），不过这种情况不多
2)爬multi pitch, 需要link pitch,但是link起来又超过60m, 小于70m的，这种情况比
较多见
3）rappel，很多pitch就比30m稍微长一点， 用60m绳子做single rope rappel就不行，
这时候需要70m绳子
总的来说，现在最主流的还是60m绳子，很多路线都是按照这个绳长设计的，如果不是特
殊需要，不建议买70m绳子
double rope你是指用double rope climb? 这个最主要的好处是可以1带2，并且提供冗

好帐篷就中午了，下午爬了West Country (3-pitch 5.7)。第二个pitch的lieback又滑又
awkward，还是挺难的 （图1, Qun），第三个pitch是5.7 friction slab的runout (图2,
Qun and Buzzy）。我们一致认为这些天爬的friction slab，无论5.7, 5.8还是5.9，都比
snake dike上面的slab要简单... |

lead. The one on TR was an easy 5.6 route and that is the first time I have
taken a fall on a 5.6. Second time was a 5.8 sport. I was nearing the
anchors, about 6-8 feet above the last bolt. It was a bit scary but
fotunately the terrain was vertical enough that I didn't hit anything.
I have broken a hold at Red Rocks, I think it was on the last pitch of Going

我放了3个塞子，Wildcountry 000，metolius 0， trango .5，然后拼了。哈哈。上去
就后悔了，心想下来会不会摔死啊。
于是做好放弃塞子下降的准备硬头皮向上。后面大概15米大概是5.10a左右的裂缝吧，
胀手塞脚推塞子，不多久都爬掉第二个pitch了。
第三个pitch是悬空在屋檐下，吊着保护你的搭档。 那次的搭档跟攀不上，我要么下降
，要么继续往上。 继续往上的话rope dragging太大，没法搞了。 于是下降和他玩那
个crux顶绳。
然后就见到你了：） Erect direction真是super fun啊。第三个pitch应该也挺有趣
的，出大屋檐，还要挂脚。没爬成，留下点遗憾 |

这初始两次的尝试。然后说最近训练心得。
第一个周末:
warm up 5.6;
lead了一个5.8，
follow了两个5.8;
follow了一个5.10c
第二个周末：
全都是lead climbing
两条multipicth的路线，一个是5.8;另外一个是5.9(this one is 180-feet long; the
ascend is sing pitch, but the descend is three picthes from the other side)
一条也是multipicth，但是没上第二个pitch。第一个pitch是5.10a/b。
我爬的比较慢，用朋友的话说是边爬边想的那种，所以在户外目前还一般不怎么take。
估计上的route还比较简单没有特别demanding的。但是现在还没有helmet，有时候也比
较担心掉下来，所以都是非常确定有好的position的时候才move on。还有我个子矮，

爬这几个山头是年初就和山友T计划好的，因为T的工作性质，请假必须提前好几个月通
知，我们就把日子定在奥运开幕前的那个周末。至于到时候天气如何，只能撞大运了，
反正爬山本来就是靠天吃饭，三天之后的气象预报就不怎么靠谱，索性来个拣日不如撞
日。行程如下：
周四早退数小时，和T汇合后开车至South Colony Lake Upper TH，步行约三迈半到
South Colony Lake，在11,500’左右扎营。
周五从Red Gully上Crestone Peak，然后 traverse到Crestone Needle；
周六上Humboldt，顺便拿下边上一个centennial 13er Columbia Point，下山回家。
先说一下approach，以前如果你有4WD的话可以一直开到离湖边一迈的地方，一到周末
就热闹无比，除了爬山的，还有钓鱼、露营、狂欢的各色人等。近年来ZF寅吃卯粮，入

发帖数: 379 | 46 星期六早上五点出发，七点到Leavenworth的加油站集合，一起开车到6.1 miles的
trailhead。Leader开了辆BMW的敞篷跑车，有个性。Trailhead那新盖了个小房子，马
路对面有片新开的停车场，以后再找不到营地可以考虑去那里蹭过夜。过了桥之后右转
，挨着就是个三叉路口，沿着中间那个走几步，马上右边就是上山的trail。似乎是在
修路，几条大路中间都停着施工车，把路给堵上了，倒是不容易走错。在停车场抬头就
能看到Yellowjacket Tower了，看着倒不是很远，尖尖的一个山峰。刚开始的那段
trail比较平，两侧鲜花盛开，最多的就是一串串紫色的小花，都开满了。很快路就陡
了起来，大概1 mile上升1500 ft，不过路况非常好，都是很结实的土路，个别地方要
翻个树枝、爬点石头什么的。好几个地方都看到了mountain goat，不过也许是同一只。
我一直以为mountain goat和Ibex是同一种生物、生活在不同的大陆，就跟白种人、黄
种人一样，不过leader一定说他们是两种不同的羊，好吧…
