很多老人家说，当年给10％小费就很不错了，等我十年前来美国的时候，被教育给15％
。这十年来我每次都给15％，除非特别的情况，自己觉得已经很大方了，可是现在又有
人说晚餐要给20％……
我尊重每一个劳动者的劳动，但是难道若干年来，餐馆服务生的劳动，相比后台大师傅
的劳动，变得更值钱了？我更相信是服务生贪得无厌，索要无度，再加上用餐顾客好面
子的结果。
以后我要恢复古风（其实也不算多古，就20年前吧），每餐只给10％小费，除非特殊情
况。

会说英语了，难免时不时的来一句Oh my God，尤其是碰上什么让我们amazed的事情时
。比如说，一年前我离开新西兰时家门口正在修路，一年后我回新西兰时，居然看到同
样的人还在那里修路，我会情不自禁的自言自语：Oh my God!So slow!
自言自语还好，如果是对老外说那就要小心了，不是因为老外不喜欢我们说他慢，而是
一部分老外不喜欢我们把他们信仰的God和那些完全不相干的事情联系起来，而且对他
直呼其名。
在英语世界，很多老外是不相信的上帝的，而且，许多老外看不惯那些相信上帝的人。
因此，一些不相信上帝的老外会把Oh my God挂在嘴边，从而对上帝和相信他的人一并
讽刺。
我也不相信上帝，但是我想我应该配合那些信上帝的人捍卫其权利，所谓信仰自由。这
就得从少用、慎用Oh my God做起。
不过少用、慎用的尺度很难把握，因为有时很难知悉周围老外谁信上帝，谁不信上帝，
谁半信不信，所以，要避免冒犯别人，对Oh my God最好是能避免。顺便避用Oh my
Jesus和Oh my Christ，因为都和上帝有关。

Match的结果终于尘埃落定，周1等电邮的时候非常紧张，因为成败就在此了，虽然一直
告诉自己，今年只是热热身，成败都可以接受，但到真的揭晓的时候，还是很紧张，毕
竟一旦卷入其中就身不由己，何况自己也还是有所付出。到周4等match program的时候
虽然也有点紧张，但程度已经大大减少，1个原因是毕竟match上才是头等大事，去哪里
尚在其次，还有1个原因是心理还是有所准备了，虽然希望留在home school，但直觉告
诉我恐怕是非常困难了，在我rank list上第二位的program应该就是我要去的地方，果
不其然。经过几天的等待，发现果然是要搬家了。

version）。今天收到了ECFMG的email，说我已经完成了网上注册步骤。接下来：
1. form 186， 还没有请国内学校的负责人签字
2. form 344， okay
3. form 345， 两份，okay
4. form 187， okay
5. 照片， okay
6. 学位复印件已经英文翻译，我找的是纽约法拉盛的“最佳翻译公司”。翻译件已经
拿到。okay
我的form 186需要寄回国内找人签字。昨天有人讲可以将以上所有的表格都寄回中国，
国内的人签字之后由学校寄给ECFMG. 现在我的问题是：
1. form 345上讲：需要将表格寄给ECFMG，然后ECFMG会寄一份Verification of
Medical Education form 给我的学校。由负责人盖章后寄还给ECFMG.也就是说需要找
学校负责人签两次字，一次是form186，一次是这个Verification of Medical
Education form. 我的理解对吗？

从Calgary的成品油储藏中心出来，Dude-walkby已经有十八个小时没有怎么休息过。从
十七岁他第一次来到温哥华开始，他就一直对这两个相距八百公里的城市之间的气候差

第一天”明显是两天，从开始工作到天黑，一共是20个小时。估计是第一天夜里没加班
，和第二天早上连一起了。而且可以注意里面基本上一个昼夜交替是20小时，说明一天
还休息了4个小时。视频里也没说是连续工作或者六天建成。所以全部时间应该是7天到
8天。工作时间是136.5小时。但是能这样建起来还是很令人惊讶的。远大公司还在世博
会上面花了24小时建造了一栋展示楼，那个有24小时连续视频。
下面是Youtube上外国人的部分评价。里面当然有一些是嘲笑中国产品质量低下的。但
是更多的是惊讶。搞笑评论也很多。欧美发达国家因为建筑项目少，所以市场养不起太
多的建筑工人，所以建筑的时候花费时间总是特别长。很多欧美居民对此非常不满。所
以建筑速度虽然值得自豪，却也并不是说我们比欧美强很多。这一点要客观看待。但终
归来说，中国人现在吃苦耐劳的本色仍然非常强大。

有一个年青人参加一个星期三晚上的圣经研读班。牧师分享着有关倾听上帝并顺服
主的声音的讯息，年青人心里不禁怀疑着：“上帝现在还对人们说话吗？”
课程结束后，他到外面与几个朋友喝咖啡、吃派。他们讨论这篇讯息，其他几个人
谈到上帝如何在不同的生活带领他们。年青人开车回家时大约晚上１０点。坐在车内，
他开始祷告：“上帝，如果你还继续对人说话，请跟我说话，我会听，我会尽一切所能

今天早晨我突然觉得，其实正是因为我们在轮回里，我们是人，我们在不停地经历人生
，经历五蕴所构成的一切。这不恰恰是最好的让我们了知苦的机会麽？关键在哪里呢？
在用心，用心活着其实很重要，只有用心才能感知人生的诸多困惑，才能感知生命的不
圆满，才能感知原来无我，无常，才能感知苦。知苦才可以想到要灭苦。当苦的逼迫感
迎面而来挡也挡不住的时候，我们自然很想离苦，于是寻找解脱之道。发自肺腑想要灭
苦，才能认真学习和实践灭苦之道。也就是说，人生其实给我们提供了觉悟的机会和基

（很多评论很搞笑），我们在进步，别太着急~我比较好奇如果是美国6天建起酒店，中
国各路人马会如何评价？

这个酒店，事先的设计、打地基、预制件生产肯定不止6天。贴视频也是个标题党，“
第一天”明显是两天，从开始工作到天黑，一共是20个小时。估计是第一天夜里没加班
，和第二天早上连一起了。而且可以注意里面基本上一个昼夜交替是20小时，说明一天
还休息了4个小时。视频里也没说是连续工作或者六天建成。所以全部时间应该是7天到
8天。工作时间是136.5小时。但是能这样建起来还是很令人惊讶的。远大公司还在世博
会上面花了24小时建造了一栋展示楼，那个有24小时连续视频。
下面是Youtube上外国人的部分评价。里面当然有一些是嘲笑中国产品质量低下的。但
是更多的是惊讶。搞笑评论也很多。欧美发达国家因为建筑项目少，所以市场养不起太

错。这个事情发生在大陆航空上我一点都感到不奇怪。由于他们是777直飞上海，所以
老衲一直是“忠实”乘客，但是一下一幕幕就是“忠诚”是如何被rewarded的：
3月底，第二件行李开始加收70还是100元，原来好像是25。然后一群要到上海转机的硬
盘就带行李上飞机。大陆的空乘对此不闻不问，直到最后真的装不下了，开始不分青红
皂白在门口拦下所有carry on的行李，又是一堆硬盘在那里翻箱倒柜整理箱子办托运。
12月，上飞机了以后，发现空乘正往在我座位顶上行李舱很用力地塞东西。我说：

So we know that I'm not the most politically correct person so don't take
this offensively. I don't mean it toward any of my friends I mean it toward
random people that I don't even know in the library. So, you guys are not
