't say it's HOT (pun intended). But I've been looking for an oil radiator
for several months now, and this one is amazing for the price and reviews. I
just picked one up and it works awesome, of course if you have gas heating
at home this probably won't be of much use, but I only have electric heating
and this is by far the most cost efficient method.

years.
my car is 1 year old now and just prompted me to add 1qt of oil. fortunately
, the maintanence program covers this as well. my dealer topped up for me fr
ee.
the interesting part is the oil level meter only works when oil has been war
med up. hence, the warning wouldn't show up when the engin is still cold. |

大约是十几年前，市面上突然出现了一种新的烹饪油，英文叫做 Canola Oil 。起先只
有在专卖 ” 健康自然产品 ” 的店里才能看到，但是因为政府及私人公司都广为宣传
这种油的好处：纯植物提炼、不饱和性脂肪、低胆固醇、比别的植物油还理想 … 云云。
既然连政府都这么说，大概是不会错了;于是乎关心自己和家人健康的朋友，都纷纷买

但是， Canola 油 到底是什么东西做的呢?其他的油都可以从名字望文生义：如橄榄油

我三个月前去换油，因为贪便宜嘛，还有免费检查。结果换了以后2天就显示engine
oil low，我去找，它们说不清楚不是它们的责任，也不给我免费重换。
我当时犯傻，也没多想，居然在它们那里又花了40$重换了，结果事后2个月，车再一次
亮起engine oil low，我这次不敢去那家火石黑店了，直接去了walmart的auto center
，那里的人说机油那里被损坏了，即使今天加了，也会不断的漏油。
我作为华裔，非常想打官司维护我们的合法权益，但无奈证据太少，我很确信是火石搞
的鬼，但firestone死不承认怎么半？即使不打官司，也不能吃哑巴亏，只能发到各种
美国各种论坛了。

里修的话要440块（人工加配件）。

You should follow the owner's manual, most car should be 7500 if regular oil
is used, if you only drive in city (no high way), change every 5000 is more
than enough.
The Oil life indicator is based on very complicated calculation, mostly your
driving habit, short frequent trip will shorten it, long highway cruise
will lengthen it, temperature, how many engine starts, etc. are all used.

of lubricants are designed for different applications. For your case, Engine
Oil is not a good choice because that it is hard to keep the Engine Oil in
the bearing of your furnace.

因为重力，engine oil在engine底壳里。要润滑engine部件，你得把oil pump起来，相
当于从engine上头浇下去，engine转着你就得浇着。所以是个很重要的零件，所以做的
很结实。 |

比如manual说应使用5w-30的synthetic oil
那么在10w迈之后开始使用High-mileage的5w-30 synthetic oil好呢，还是这时候换成
5w-40的普通synthetic oil更好？
我自己的车已经13w迈，一直只用Mobil 1的Extended Performance Synthetic 5w-30或

的顺便帮忙找了一下漏油的具体位置，发现是在transmission oil pan的一侧有一个洞
，建议我去换一个新的oil pan。车是05年的Dodge stratus,油漏光了，这下等于是全
换了transmission oil，而且换了新的transmission pan会不会对这个老车有什么影响
？还有有人换过这个东西么？请大概估个价，谢谢！ |

engine oil都有旁路，就算oil filter堵了也会保证有足够的机油润滑，如果机油不足
的话你的Oil Pressure会先亮起来，而且油温跟水温不会有什么关系，你水温高的话要
么是缸垫漏了要么就是冷却系统有问题（比如漏水）。 |

刚买的2003年二手车，11w+ mileage，到CarMaster全面检修了一遍，最后他们建议：
更换
Engine oil & filter，
Transmission fluid,
Coolant,
收费300。如果同意，额外给
1）更换Wiper blades（前车主也说blades该换了），但是只能换20刀左右的质量，更
好的要再价钱；
2）清洁battery。
大家帮忙看看这个价格是否合适？先谢了！
PS：不了解前车主的保养记录。
