If you do not trust the people who design the car, you should not even buy
the car.
I would change the oil at least once per year if you do not drive much.

发帖数: 175 | 3 去NTB换的油，估计就是最便宜的那种。以前都是3000mile 左右就换的。再说这玩意就
是一个bonus，买二手车也不会因为OLM就买或者不买吧。主要是不知道它怎么算的 | g*****9
发帖数: 4125 | 4 No modern car should change oil every 3000 miles, you just waste money and
does not help car.
You should follow the owner's manual, most car should be 7500 if regular oil
is used, if you only drive in city (no high way), change every 5000 is more
than enough.
The Oil life indicator is based on very complicated calculation, mostly your
driving habit, short frequent trip will shorten it, long highway cruise
will lengthen it, temperature, how many engine starts, etc. are all used.
