是因为我们curr biol和PNAS都发过。
我本来也没特别倾向，不过才发现，按照中科院分区nature communications是2区杂志
，虽然影响因子过10，但是分区里和Plos One都一个区的。。。
跑来问问回国用哪个杂志性价比最好？我自己觉得curr biol速度比较快，相对也友好
，PNAS慢一点，但也还可以。不知道Nature communications是不是跟其他nature子刊
一样时间会拖得臭长？ |

关于Nature Nano的审稿，伊说他们平均一周接到15-20篇稿子（比我想象的少，可能因
为NN比较新，呵呵）。直接据掉2/3，剩下的送给审稿人。NN是两轮审稿，即修改以后
的文章还要交给原来的referee审。
关于文章写作，基本要求是第一段大一的学生要能读懂，全文研一的学生要能读懂。。。
文章里面严禁出现XXX has potential application in YYY。如果要写这个东西有
application，那就必须提供数据。如果是有industrial application的话，他们会请
工业界的审稿人。
另外，cover letter里面建议的审稿人只作为参考，但cover letter里面建议回避的审
稿人是肯定会回避的。
我还问了一下NN和Nature Mater以及Nano Lett的区别，伊说NN更重应用，正如前面说
的，只要提到应用，要提供相应数据。 |

SERS用Au做substrate是利用nano金表面粗糙分布来增强信号。
所以它的顺序是 金的地盘，上面有target analyte。化合物是放在金的上面。
在2010年厦大一个教授发表在nature上面一个文章，叫shell isolate nanoparticle
enhanced Raman spectroscopy.
他们做的是一种金的nano颗粒，然后撒在表面，用来增强Raman信号。我想请教一下，
这个方法，金颗粒是撒在化合物的上面还是在下面？如果是在化合物的上面，那他是利
用什么原理增强信号的？

新期刊不都是这样的么，趁投稿的人不是特别多的时候有些人啥工作都往上扔
随着收到的稿件多了，自然水平就上去了，谁叫人家是nature子刊呢
最近遇到几个jacs被拒的同行，说要改投nature com。。。。。。材料口的，感觉就是
趁着新期刊去碰运气，再过个两年自然不会有这种情况发生了 |

其实现在的文章，反正也能放arxiv，大家都随时能看。
到底发哪个期刊，完全就是个面子问题。
人家nature是有品牌效应。从nature衍生出的子刊，可
以沾nature的名气，所以热门。
还有就是大家认为，既然是nature发过的，以后类似的
问题必定也可以投，所以肯定拼命的跟贴。
APS OSA本来已经很水了，新推什么期刊也没用，都
不会比PRL牛。 |

不如放手一搏，nothing to lose吗。
再说这个名气也不一定好用，那个Science的子刊好像
还是很差吧，nature算是个奇迹了吧，nature materials，nanotechnology,
photonics, physics搞一个红一个。Nature physics可是
完胜PRL啊，就算不管印象因子，我觉得搞物理让他们
挑一个杂志发得话，90%以上会选Nature physics |

2011年PRX共发文章43篇（PRX是2011年8月开始发文章的）。
截止到现在，这43篇文章总共380次引用。
由于ISI的统计有一定的迟滞（3-4个月），估计明年PRX的2year IF出来应该在9-10左
右。超过Nature Physics第一年公布的IF （～12.X）不太可能了，但是高于PRL还是比
较容易的。第一步看来，运作得不算太差。长期来说，要看PRX如何继续。如果说PRX的
投稿在不中的情况下仍然能被PRL考虑，那PRX的manuscript supply不会太差，跟
Nature Physics有得打。但是现在还不清楚PRX的投稿转PRL的时候是否会有一定优势。
PRX的目标是瞄准Nature Physics，但是采用的是Nature Commun. online-publish 的
方式。 |

当然，Nature Physics不用涵盖物理的所有领域，完全是以高IF为目的。非火热的方向
，非大山头很难发Nature Physics。
PRL涵盖的东西多很多，虽然有些领域仍然不是很容易发PRL，但是还是更加平衡一些。
以前PRL那个4页限制其实很愚蠢。实际上很多时候文章作者是用砍引用的方式来满足篇
幅的限制。现在APS开窍一点了。
Nature Physics的Editor财大气粗，不愁投稿，editor的决定权非常大。PRL的editor
权利小多了。 |

think their average quality is better than the average for PRL. NC benefits
a great deal from taking very good papers beaten down from Nature and
Nature Physics. It has grown in size but is still much smaller than PRL (~
1000 physics papers a year vs ~3000 for PRL). The $5000+ fee is outrageous
though, and I bet it is hurting the journal quite a bit.

猾地抵赖了。另一次骚扰editor in chief，没想到仅仅过了两天，Nature竟然郑重地道
歉啊。
相比之下，本人在买提sysop多次向钻务询问误杀DaShuai的原因。恐怕不下4-5次吧。钻
务除了删贴了事，就是私信恐吓要删除本人艾迪啊。民不畏死奈何以死惧之啊。买提的
