險公司是不會賠的 不知道你的半保有沒有包括這一項 上網查一下吧

在quote geico的时候有三项分别是 Uninsured Motorist BI, Underinsured Motorist
Property Damage, Underinsured Motorist。第一项和第三项有什么区别？还有保险
的plan是必须以半年为一个周期吗？可不可以每个月的计划不一样？谢啦～ |

别家都要500-700，geico家只要$250。
怎么差别这么大？
好象别家对Bodily Injury Liability等都是对每辆车都算一遍，Geico家对所有车只算
一遍。
这个清单中是对两辆车都cover，并且都2个driver都cover吧？ 有点不敢相信的感觉。

collision不必。
感觉Uninsured Motorist Property Coverage 是你的车的估价就1000-2000，如果出事

发帖数: 108 | 10 昨晚高速出口停住等红灯时被人追尾，下车一看后车司机就是没钱的主，他建议我们先
挪到路边加油站，我同意（傻逼了，我考虑到阻碍交通什么的），记下他车牌就开到加
油站，途中发现他溜了。。有两个目击证人开了过来，找他们要了联系方式。
打了911，感觉腰有点疼，也有点恶心，就上了救护车。去ER就给做了个x-ray。
好在我保险有买Uninsuranced motorist，vehicle damage 和 body Injury 都保了。
今天保险公司说找到那没有果他有保险就他的保险出，如果没有保险或者找不到人就走
我自己的uninsuranced motorist保我的车和我的ER账单，都不用collision coverage。
人也没事，保险不论怎么都保，还是不幸中的万幸。给大家分享一下，买点
uninsuranced motorist还是挺有用的。可惜我刚工作买的新车，自己再注意也耐不住
别人撞我。。
我想请问，我车的warranty 会void吗，前面发动机没受损，后面trunk 比较大，后轴
也还好。额外买的warranty 呢？
还有，我的保费会涨吗，不是我的过错出车祸的，谢谢！ |

好的情况。
你的保险公司和警察都会尽量追人的。如果追到了肇事人，而且肇事人有保险，那就不
能用uninsured motorist了。如果他的保险额度不高，这事情就很恶心了。。。
如果你没有uninsured motorist，而且追不到肇事人，你确实是要自己cover自己了。 |

先列举两个例子
Case 1: A拥有的汽车是2000年的旧车，市价约$3,000,他只购买了liability coverage
20/40/50。某日A驾车途中，被另一辆车B追尾, B肇事后逃逸(hit and run). A受伤，
医疗费和损失的工资一共$25,000. 那么A的损失由谁负责呢？
Case 2: A拥有的汽车是2000年的旧车，市价约$3,000,他只购买了liability coverage
20/40/50。某日A驾车途中，与另一辆车B碰撞, B对事故负有全部的责任. A受伤，医
疗费和损失的工资一共$25,000. B也只购买了liability coverage 10/20/50。那么A的
损失由谁负责呢？
如果A没有购买Uninsured /Underinsured Motorist Coverage，那么对于第一个案例,
A将没有办法获得任何赔偿。那么对于第二个案例，A可以从B的保险公司获得$10,000赔
偿，也就是B的bodily injury coverage的上 |

发帖数: 392 | 50 收到警察寄来的一张罚单，Failure to stop at a red light，上网看了看当时的自动
录像，是在红灯时，没有完全停稳就右转了（当时没有来自左面的直行或对面的左转车
）。我知道，面对红灯右转时先要STOP，但对这个Voilation，网上的解释是：
Q: What is a red light running violation?
A: A red light running violation occurs when a motorist enters an
intersection after the traffic signal has turned red. Motorists already in
the intersection when the signal changes to red, when waiting to turn for
example, are not considered red light violators.
想请教各位高人，虽然我有错，但这个指控对吗？如果不对的话，我能否去争取一下，
免掉这个罚单呢？
