跟我前两天的情况挺象的，也是geico的
1. 我的车只有liability的保险（用的是geico的），我是否需要打电话给我的保险公
司？我是否需要打电话给老太太的保险公司？
你打也行，老太太打也行，如果主要是你的责任，打给你的保险公司。 geico会给你
一个claim #,然后他们派 adjuster去和老太太联系，如果你让geico全权复杂，那以后
就没你什么事了，当然过半个月再打电话跟geico和老太太确认一下。你要比较准确的
描绘一下出事的情况。和双方车的损伤，如果你能记住的话。
2. 如果老太太没有上庭，那么我是否还需要赔付她修车的费用？
如果是你的错，得赔，跟上部上庭没关系，而且我觉得这个应该是traffic court，
就是说你违章的事。你要是能说清楚，也许可以免一张罚单，少点罚款，不扣点最好。
3. 是不是把那个Motorist Report填写完毕，然后寄走；然后拿着黄色的ticket准备上
庭就可以了？还需要做别的事情么？

当时停在路上等红灯，车子完全停下且等了一会儿，后面一辆车直接撞了上来。车子后
备箱撞进去很多，后车轮也掉了一个。那个司机说是没看到前面我的车，估计也没看到
红灯。
警察来了后录了记录，给我个记录号，让我下周去取报告，并叫来拖车把车拖走了。由
于没有经验，当时基本什么都没做，也没要对方的保险信息。回家后给自己保险公司打
了电话，由于还不知道对方的信息，保险公司让我尽快给他们对方的信息。周末感觉头
疼，自己去看了医生，最后也没给医院自己的保险信息，只是让医院把账单寄给我。
想问下，等我拿完事故报告再给对方保险公司打电话，隔了这么多天，会有影响吗。之
后，只要告诉他们车子被拖到哪里去，让他们来评估？医院的账单还能再转给他们吗？
自己的保险是半保，但看到有一项是Uninsured Motorist Property Damage。如果对方
deny,自己的保险会赔偿损失吗？ |

Same thing happened to my car last year and the driver was driving her
friend's car. Damn, can we make a case to sue those uninsured and the owner.
I was covered by uninsured motorist(UM) in the end. UM has a cap of $3500
for my insurance.
For other people's information, 1/3 of the cars running in CA are uninsured. |

者是没有保险的人或者肇事者逃逸的人撞了你之后的一种财产赔偿计划，需要交
deductible，如果你有对方车，司机的信息或当时事故现场有出具事故报告，
deductible可能是100，如何是hit-run那种deductible是$300.但是前提是如果事故发
生过错方是对方，你才能用UIM这个来cover，如果过错方是自己的话只能用collision
来cover |

Bodily Injury Liability (25/50) 从以前的$80.00涨到了$80.90
Uninsured Motorists Bodily Injury (25/50) 从以前的$8.30涨到了$8.40
这两个加起来一共长了一刀也就算了，关键是
Property Damage Liability (25) 从以前的$78.20涨到了$87.70
Comprensive ($200 DED) 从以前的$36.10涨到了$41.30
唯一没变的就是Underinsured Moterist，一共也没多少钱
这样算下来每半年的premium一下子涨了$15.70，以前顶多涨个几毛，从没这样过
自打拿驾照以来从来没半张ticket，更没任何accident，真是莫名其妙
请问最近renew policy的GEICO用户也有无端被涨价的么？
