威德炮台
坐落在纽约史坦顿岛海岸线上的威德炮台，始建于1847年至1862年期间，以抵御外
敌入侵纽约湾海峡(Narrows)。威德炮台属于瓦兹沃斯堡(Fort Wadsworth)其中一部分
，是美国最古老的军事据点。这座军事基地直至1994年才被弃用，目前由国家公园服务
局(National Park Service)管理。

从自由女神像往下看，你会看到伍德堡。这座十一角星型炮台于1811年建设竣工。

松口称，特朗普对兴建高铁很有兴趣。引发舆论关注。
负责特朗普政府重大交通工程建设的赵小兰27日在接受专访时首度提及美兴建高铁的可
行性。她说，特朗普对兴建高铁“相当有兴趣”，“我也在找最好的高铁建议案供总统
参考”。
赵小兰还说，连接市中心和市中心是兴建高铁的关键，就她了解，得克萨斯州达拉斯到
休斯敦有此可能，另外佛罗里达州及加利福尼亚州部分地段也被提及。还有成本效益也
要考虑，美国政府无法负担所有费用，公共建设需求已超出现有资源。
亚洲各国持续兴建高铁，美国迄今为止没有高速铁路，交通仍以航空及公路系统为主，
火车部分由美国全国铁路客运公司负责运营，民众对其评价不高。
赵小兰分析，高铁要能直接连接两地市中心，且要直接抵达，速度才会快，假若还需辅
以接驳车、出租车或自己开车，就不够吸引人。当务之急是提升美铁列车的行车速度，
但由于路线曲折，速度很难加快。

Avy danger in typical maritime snow is more predictable than continental
ones for its lack of persistent weak layers. Avy typically happen during or
right after storm here. Yet it Sierra snow may not be always maritime. The Jan 23
cold storm last year made it very tricky and a folk died from it much later

Point Naval & Maritime Museum(aka. USS Yorktown),附近奴隶主的庄园, 附近的
