guys lost 20% of their investment in a week. After another week, these
investments started to make money. 20% loss is very painful. I personally
will cut any position if it loses more than 10%. Again, my point is, you may

Asset allocation

2. 对大多数散户投资者而言，index investing是达成投资目标的最佳方式
看清我的限定词
大多数 = 80%以上（你可能不是，你完全可以选择其它方式 ）
散户投资者 = 不是以金融分析为职业的个人投资者(aka大多数investment版读者)
达成投资目标 = 养老，孩子上大学（而非getting rich quickly）
最佳方式 = 结论是压倒性的，没有其它方式超过它

investment，我觉得法学院学的东西对投行一点用也没有，Investment banker都是
salesman mentality，没有risk averse,和律师感觉很不一样，而且好像很少有中国人在投行里面作M&A,在律所里面作M&A的很多，但是好像投行的很少做M&A or real estate，可能是因为大部分NY investment banks 客户都是欧美的公司
从律所去投行大部分都是作GC，直接作investment banking的不多，而且Investment
banking 很累，从associate做起的话，稍微岁数大一点可能就顶不住，经常连几天不
怎么睡觉，每天工作到1， 2 点 |
