different from missing. if you have a value representing missing, then
certainly it is not missing.
2) By default, SAS will fit the model without records with missing value. I

automatically in the procedure. But SAS does have some procedure to impute

regarding of MNAR data, what are the impacts on regression coefficient
estimates if u use one of the following methods:
1. casewise deletion
2. single value(mean) replacement
3. single conditional means imputation
4. multiple imputation

我们教missing data的老师给的最简单实惠方法：先imputation，然后用imputed data
去做回归，与此同时assume本来的data是missing at random再来个回归，如果这两个
回归的结果差不多，那就用假设data是mar的结果。
这是最便宜大碗的方法，认真起来这missing data问题可大了，phd的课讲一学期…… |

follow up. Some were even missing baselines. ITT is the proposed analysis.
We used LOCF to impute missing data but this would not help missing
baselines. Shall I use more fancy MI technique? I haven't touched MI before
though.
Also, since ITT is the proposed analysis, when I do a response profile (with
mean and SE over the time), shall I present the imputed data or the
available cases (not just completers)? Or both?

我做genomics data，都是上g的data，R读数据基本上是考验耐心，而SAS都是几秒钟就
读进去。
曾经做multiple imputation，对一个比较大的数据impute missing value。
R的code就很短的三五行，结果运行时间估计是20小时。
同事做计算机的，写了满满一页perl code来实现。写code花了半个小时，运行不到三
分钟。
R的有点在于有很多现成的统计函数和模块，但data manipulation上速度确实比SAS慢
很多，更不用说perl，C++之类的 |

关于miss data:如果missing data相对于整个数据量来说不大，有时候会忽略；如果不
能忽略，那就做imputation，有很多imputation的方法。
关于很多变量：首先查看各变量间的关系，看看有没有correlation，然后可以用
random forest来确定变量的重要性排序。
觉得这两个问题不太好回答，希望有大牛来brainstorm一下。 |

个实际应用中根据情况可以有比较简单的解决办法，简单的不work时也有各种advanced
解决办法，比较advanced都是讲imputation的书里专门讲了，讲regression的书某些章
节会提一下，给一些reference |

发帖数: 4936 | 19 先不说数据的时效性和准确性，这类数据每个国家统计的方法和标准差别太大了。
拿中国来说，最贫困的人口集中在农村，提高农村地区的最低收入显然是必须的。但是
拿其他国家来比，你就要考虑每个国家的计算方法，比如墨西哥，收入里是计算虚拟房
租和虚拟地租的，而在中国贫困农民种的地都是无偿分配的（能承包大量土地的显然不
会是贫困人口），如果按照某些国家在收入里加入虚拟租金的话，显然可以把收入数据
提高一大块，问题是这么做有意义么？还有些国家，比如乌克兰的数据一向是通过非常
规（非常规在这儿可以理解为胡搞瞎搞）的imputation得到的，就是说它的数据里有大
量空白，最后的数字是通过统计模型造出来的而非通过实际调查采集到的。提高收入或
者说脱贫只需要在国内纵向比较就可以了。当然你背后如果有agenda，那就没什么好说

2000块GDP.如果你让老妈来做保姆该做的事情,这2000块GDP就没有了.
房子本来也是应该这么算,你租房子花1000/月,就产生1000的GDP.自己的房子,实际维护
花销要算GDP(比如请人修房子的钱,自己买东西修房子的钱),其他都不算.结果美国就搞
出个虚拟房租的算法,你自己住的房子市面房租多少,就把这个虚拟房租算到GDP里面.具

这个东西现在占美国GDP的6-7%.
