I always thought When I hit it too hard, I hit it out. Now I think I was
wrong.
I over heard a coach teaching a HS player last week. He said "hit it as
hard as you can with good top spin. The harder your hit, the more top spin
you have. You will not hit it out. Trust me and trust your strokes." It is
so common sense, but I was not thinking that way.

一直潜水，新帐号只能发到这了。今天下午高速上从中间换到右边lane，有辆车上来
beep我一下，然后跑到我前面闪灯+打手势，虽然没有感觉到hit，但是看他的意思是要
我pullover。于是我就跟在他后面想靠边减速，但是对方一直不减速（可能是我没打灯
？）过了一分钟后对方就加速换最左边lane跑了，之后我就没能跟上。下了高速靠边检
查了车身，没有新的划痕和dent，确定没有hit，就去上课了。之后越想越后怕，要是
对方报警说有hit然后我hit and run了咋办？我想要不要先去警察局报备下？现在还来
得及么？我这算是hit and run吗？唉，晚上要睡不着了。。。。

突然想起来警察好像问了我要不要给她开罚单，我当时没太明白，就说要accident
report，警察可能也没给她开单子

一个Lovenox order for a hx of HIT patient 的electronic order被我点到
电脑上红艳艳的red flag呀～看得我心跳，更心虚
悄悄的退出，让其他人 process这个棘手的order 吧。。。

最近IL警方抓了一个人。是个富二代。
他在FL飙车，撞死了两个英国游客，然后跑了。后来被条子抓住了。但是估计赔了很多
钱，另外上下打点，所以FL法院只判他HOME PRISON两年。
但是，这之前他在IL就惹过祸，还在ＰＲＯＢＡＴＩＯＮ，回来后就进了JAIL。
报纸报道这个事只是介绍了这件事，还有这个人的背景。就没有去比较为什么FL只判他
家庭监狱。
主要的问题在于经过一百多年，美国人民媒体对先富已经麻木了。
中国不行，30年前大家还吃一样的饭，现在你开改装宝马，我连肉都快吃不上了，这情
绪就很难稳定。

发帖数: 883 | 29 周末的时候，车的后bumper（最右后角）被hit了。可能因为hit的力量很轻，当时在车
里面没有感到车身震动，就没有停车直接走了，到家才发现被hit了。
bumper只是凹进去了一块，没有破裂。而且用热风机烤了一会后，凹进去的部位已经被
推回原位了。从bumper本身，基本看不出来被hit过，但是车身右侧最后端和bumper的
接缝处，有点变形（变形是在车身上）。就是这张图，bumper和车身之间那个L形的接
缝拐弯处
如果做body work的话，可能不会便宜。
我的车不到2年，是全保(deductible: $750)，是否应该告诉保险公司？求建议。 |

明知道hit了却逃跑，这才叫hit-and-run，这个最难证明的是intention。
如果只是轻微碰了一下，那可能司机自己没有意识到，那就没有主观上的run这个情节
；或者说发生了碰撞，但是司机没有马上就跑掉，比如你这个情况，可能你留在原地一
段时间，但是因为有别的事情，所以你离开了。
反正不用怕，你就说你留在那里等车主，但是等了半个小时然后你有事情就走了，匆忙
之间没有留下你的电话等信息。不过觉得你是能惹事但是怕事的那种人，上法庭会不会
犯傻咱们就不知道了。
不过说实话，你本来应该给人家留下电话什么的。 |

300k。扣除34k的401k和保险、FSA等税前的东西，假设AGI是260k。先看普通算法。两
个人一个小孩，exemption一共11400。假设州税交了16000。因为仅州税一项就已经超
过standard deduction，所以肯定用itemized deduction。这样普通算法exemption+
deduction至少有27400了。而AMT由于phase out的原因，exemption只有51250（而不是
全额的78750），完全没有deduction。这样，第二步普通算法算出TI为232600，而AMT
算出的TI为208750。到第三步里面，普通算法算出税额为53665，而AMT算出税额为
54950，大于普通算法，于是就hit AMT了。

定义，同一个收入，一个hit了AMT另一个没有hit AMT。这样说法就没有比较意义了。
你可以说hit by AMT，就是按AMT多交。anyway ，知道这个意思就行了。

发帖数: 3157 | 46 想来想去，你给的这个收入范围要交AMT最大的可能是joint file separately. 要不然
就只能是退休老人没收入但依然交大量房地产税的。
其他情况要做到收入和deduction差距这么大也挺困难的。你可以算一下10万收入需要
deduction到多少才能Hit AMT.

我追了他大概3mile多，一路从highway追到local。
最后还是让他跑了，警察来写了report，但是也没有什么直接证人。
想请教大家，hit & run这种case，保险公司最后找到凶手并获得赔偿的几率大吗？
因为听一个朋友说，他被hit & run了，后来对方就是不承认，说他编故事。
唉，很伤心，车门被撞得凹进去了，右面车门只能半开了。而且我的车是半保，如果对
方不肯赔就要自己花钱修了……555

states, including California, hit and run property damage is not covered
by UM. You need to identify the car or driver and if insurance company
can confirm they don't have insurance, or cannot get insurance info from
them, then UM covers it
And you can get UMPD along with collision. UM will cover the deductible
if you have both.
