易被孤立出来,稳定性好，尺寸不要太大，并且研究显示它是催化氧化活性特别好的,比
方说氧化CH4到CH3OH或者苯到苯酚,等等.
如果没有合适的non-heme iron enzyme，那么heme的也可以。

day,but consult service is not bad, usually 1 to 2 rarely 3 new conslts a
day. 1 weekend call per month, round on onc floor Sat Sun, cover all heme/
onc consults, and couple evening/night calls from home, no need to go in
unless suspecting TTP, cord compression etc, but dealing with some
incompetent or paranoid ED physician or other MD is not fun.

suite regarding chemo and premed orders. it's better now so have some time
to prepare for the IM board. after that, need to read heme/onc text book,
article, etc. now i only read a few pages if i have questions regarding my
patient.
I bought new edition of Devita's Cancer, Williams hematology, a hematology
atlas, Bethasda handbook of heme, and Washington manual for onc, that's all

Ralph从监视器画面发现，Heming竟然在他每天早餐吃的谷片内，掺入了不明的药物，于是便决定报警逮人。

to CP, same as molecular. Most molecular tests start from heme field. If you
can do heme, flow and molecular, you can go to academic, and large private
labs, and maybe still can have your hands on some research
Heme + surg is more attractive in private practice and small centers,
basically you just target for money. Very few big academic centers will let

My view might be biased as it is limited by the people I conatct everyday in
our program. I never thought of sorting fellowships in term of job market,
as I am a believer a "do what you really enjoy", a bit naive, I know.
Ultimately everyone find a job, right?
I am curious about your view of job market of heme+molecular vs heme+
surgpath vs heme alone, assuming able to find a job with heme alone, how

RT，以前本人的机器是CECH-2501A美版的160G的SLIM版，一直用的是3.41+电子狗
在研究了几个自制系统后决定先刷下这个3.41的看看，测试情况：
本人之前电子狗时期用的几个软件有OM1.17.2和BM（哪个版本忘了）还有那个OM2.01J
版的在刷了自制系统后一切正常，以前可以玩的游戏都能玩，不管是内置还是外置，刚
才试了下外置硬盘的龙剑2，正常
就目前使用的情况来看，系统很稳定，最大的好处就是不用再插狗开机啦，直接正常开
机就行了~~~~~~~~~~~

1。要看自己的long term career goal。决心一穷二白把科研搞道底的，academic
center会有很多机会在住院医期间做科研，建立connection，申请fellowship都会有很
大便利。
如果打算搞private practice，不如多想想哪里更能让自己更快独立起来，哪里见到的
病人更贴进自己将来practice的情况。我前些日子做consult，特别有感触。因为我们
这里有个大的heme-onc center，所以heme-onc patients超级多。有一天我就在heme-
onc floor看consult，一天都没出他家大门。都是些chemo后的neuropathy，brain
mets，不然就是AMS。这些将来如果我去private hospital，90%的情况都不会见到。我
们这里的meds student都和我说，如果他们想看顺产的话，都要去其他community
hospital轮转，因为这里Obi service一个顺产都没有。

with ChiUSMD , only if you do both heme path and AP.
However, anyone with any other subspecialties such as GI, GU, Cyto, etc has

point.
There is a dip urine analysis that uses a stripe and tests heme, while
microscope analysis looks at Red blood cell. If you have heme from another
source, UA will be positive, but microscopic exam will be negative. A
typical example is myoglobin from muscle. If you exercise at lot, or had a
injury, it will be consistent. |

铁吃多了，人体自己会知道该吸收多少。

始就有这毛病，什么铁锅炒菜啊狂吃菠菜啊，还有各种红枣红糖补血啊，都试过，都没
用。一直拖到来美国以后体检也贫血，美国医生的办法很简单：＂吃红肉。＂现在我已
经好多年没有贫血过了。
铁，在很多食物里都有，但是动物里的铁分heme iron & nonheme iron，heme iron吸
收率大概30%；植物里的铁全部是nonheme iron，吸收率2-10%。所以补铁靠的是吃肉（
牛肉 羊肉 鸡肝 鸡心 鸡胗 猪肝 腰花之类深红色的肉和内脏）和部分海鲜（
shellfish sardine），而不是吃豆子豆腐坚果蔬菜水果，虽然有些植物里面的铁看起
来也不少。每顿饭保证3 oz的红肉，是个好习惯。美国缺铁的人比中国少，很大原因是
因为美国饮食中铁的来源比较多。
另外，肉本身能帮助铁的吸收，所以吃菠菜吃铁片的同时吃点肉，会提高铁的吸收。
咖啡因和含钙丰富的食品会影响铁的吸收，所以吃肉的时候不要喝茶喝咖啡，不要喝牛
奶吃酸奶。同理，如果你同时要补铁和补钙，两者最好间隔两小时以上。

academic不一定做serious research. 就算做research大多数人也出不了名. 看人片子
是工作,看老鼠就是research了, clinical research 门槛很低.好多在academic 的人
不愿承认, 其实好混. 在academic也能100%service, be a clinician-educator.
现在钱途好的derm, GI. Heme要看你本事,有好有差.如果就想挣钱,又不愿动脑子,又要
顾家, 做derm or GI, heme 也行, 进公司.
据说cornell不低, memorial 也不错.
从NYC penn station 开始, 往外开, 每隔50公里加5万, 200公里打住,估计工资已翻番.
academic 做过不一定有优势. 首先起薪差别不大,举例:academic, 1st yr $140k, 2nd
yr $145K,..5th yr 160K.

types of "heme proteins", such as cytochrome P450, cytochrome c.

发帖数: 70028 | 43 美国内华达州一名49岁的女子赫明(Andrea Heming)，她在2010年嫁给丈夫之后，因为对方在性事部分需求量大，赫明无法承受，便从2014年起，偷偷在丈夫每天吃的早餐谷片内掺入杀虫剂，想藉此让他「性无能」。事后男方发现妻子恶行报警逮人，但之后赫明却弃保潜逃，至今还逍遥法外。
根据《太阳报》(The Sun)报导，赫明的丈夫劳夫(Ralph)，2014年起常发现自己会无缘无故地流鼻血，而且还出现脸部涨红、容易疲倦想睡觉的情况，怀疑这一切不对劲，便偷偷地在家中装设监视器，想要了解究竟是发生什么事情。
劳夫从监视器画面发现，赫明竟然在他每天早餐吃的谷片内，掺入了不明的药物，于是便决定报警逮人。赫明出庭时表示，因为不堪丈夫在性方面需索无度，自己体力无法负荷，所以每天在谷片内掺入杀蟑螂用的杀虫剂，希望让丈夫的那话儿因此「不举」。她辩称这种药物不会致人于死，也绝非要谋害亲夫，但仍被指控谋杀罪嫌。
之后法院裁定，赫明以5万美金交保。只是此后赫明下落不明，法院宣判她也未到庭聆听，她被判处15年有期徒刑。目前已经发出通缉令，但有消息指出，她恐已逃回家乡墨西哥。 |
