LEUKOCYTE ESTERASE 1+
WBC 6-10 正常值是 < OR = 5 /HPF
可是做尿液培养，却没有发现细菌生长。
患者本人无其他明显症状，请问是什么问题呢？ | g*****j

normal value here is only a reference, meaning less than 5 WBC under high
power field of microscope exam. It is not surprising that there will be 6
WBC at one view, and 3 at the other.
Doctor makes diagnosis based on an integrated information, including WBC,
nitrate, urine culture, Leuko-esterase, and symptom. In your case, if
everything else is normal, it is likely nothing. | R******k

LEUKOCYTE ESTERASE 1+ ，除了这个和WBC不正常以外，其他的都正常。你觉得我是否
需要担心尿路感染呢？不过尿培养无细菌，是否就意味着无感染呢？
对于urianalysis的，
3次尿液都显示
Blood +1 Small
Leukocyte esterase Sm 1+
我也纳闷，为什么ruianalysis显示有blood，可是microscope却显示没有RBC。。到底
哪个
更准确呢？

发帖数: 1211 | 4 Nothing is 100%. I think urinary tract infection is very unlikely at this
point.
There is a dip urine analysis that uses a stripe and tests heme, while
microscope analysis looks at Red blood cell. If you have heme from another
source, UA will be positive, but microscopic exam will be negative. A
typical example is myoglobin from muscle. If you exercise at lot, or had a
injury, it will be consistent. |
