Diesel is more dirty than gasoline (gasoline takes one more processing than
diesel), most people can pull off with one fuel filter on a gasser engine,
but I wouldn't want to risk that on a diesel. |

个同事谈起他刚把他的touareg卖了。说开起来爽的不得了。但修起来那个苦难，自己
几乎不可能，德国车的设计需要特殊工具，打开以后无从下手。到dealer那修，一个小
配件等死人，还很贵。总之他是彻底失望，把它给卖了。
看来我也该死心了。准备转向X5，2011刚上市，有五个trims，三个的3.0 gasoline，
一个 v8 gasoline，一个tdi，大家说应该上哪个，不考虑v8。喜欢tdi，但 upgrade
to leather，要 $53000 plus，能讲价到多少？
大家说说现在买2011是好时机吗？什么时候最便宜？
这个x5不会也象touareg那么差吧。看路上跑得挺多的。

柴油发动机以前是以吵，黑烟著称，但是2009 common rail之后，评价都如下了。所以
大家要与时俱进，不要人云亦云。

Why not true? Let's see the examples. A 2.0L gasoline engine in the 2011 VW
Jetta gives 115 hp at 5200rpm and 125lb ft at 4200rpm this is the maximum
output while the TDI version of the same Jetta has the 2.0L diesel engine
which gives out 140hp at 4000rpm and 236 lb ft at 1750rpm. Note that for
gasoline engine 4200rpm is the maximum torque output and when rpm goes
beyond that point torque drops a little while the diesel engine gives almost

intake manifold gasket漏coolant，于是把发动机拆了，换了intake gasket和spark
plug。装回去后能发动，但是cylinder 6 misfire，我还是开了好一阵，后来去修车店
查了一下是low compression，估计得拆engine head才能解决，太麻烦不想搞了。想问
下大侠们，v6的发动机变成v5了还能开吗？网上的说法不一，主要问题是5缸不平衡，
gasoline会稀释机油搞垮发动机，gasoline降低O2 sensor和catalytic convertor的寿
命；但是也有人说v5照样Maine和Florida开了三个来回。。谢谢 |
