Here is the detail. My city(Fremont, CA) has 9% sales tax.
* $2000 total drive off(include tax, doc and registration, first month
payment, have to pay tax for $8150 rebate).
* 35 payment $170(tax included).
After 36 months(end of lease)
* Residual Value: $11928
* Disposition Fee: $395 or Purchase Option Fee: $300
At the last step: I added $798 for the maintenance(shouldn't do this).
Since my lease term is 36 months. It's qualify to get $2500 CA state rebate.
So, the total cost for the 3 years lease is actually.
* $2000
* 35 x $170
* $798
* $395(Disposition fee)
* -$2500
-----------------------
$6643.
About $2200/year, If I can save $1000/year from gasoline, its good
deal to me. My estimate is that I can save at least $1500-2000/year from the
gasoline bill. |

发帖数: 4593 | 6 What I was told it should be less than $80/month for average maximum 1000
miles/month(lease limit is 12K miles/year).
My Van and car give me 20MPG and 22MPG average. If I drive Van every day for
1000 miles. That would cause me 1000/20=50G gasoline, 50x4.00=$200.
So, every month I should be able save around $100. Actually, my average
monthly mileage is around 1500.

The one I used is Hayward dealer. Internet director is called Jason.
He contacted me first, then let someone working for him did follow up.
You should go with 36 months because minimum is 36 months in order to
qualify to get $2500 CA rebate.

OK, I will try to cancel the maintenance contract. Just checked manual, it's
much more simple than regular gasoline car.

This type of car is good as a 2nd car or a 3rd car(for family) because your
gasoline car still can cover for the long distance and faster speed(say
above 75MPH) type of trip.
