人,朋友,没想过手续的问题。
但是,我们想做得好一点,做正式的食品包装,礼品纸盒,商标,合法地卖给更多的人
。我属于那种读书上班做技术,没想过也没做过生意的人,所以很多事情无从下手。东
西是老婆在做,也是她在卖。有一些问题,问一下那些创业过,正在创业,艰辛过,失
败过,成功过,的过来人。谢谢。
商品:fermented food, 包含酒精,但是酒精度应该是非常非常低那种。一般情况下
不需要冰箱保存,但是冰箱保存应该会时间更久,味道也更好。
生产地点:德州休斯顿,自己家里平时做饭的厨房。
规模:老婆一个人做,一个人卖,我也帮忙,我父母在这边的时候也有帮忙。但是这个
事情一个人可以做,不需要任何雇员。
移民身份:我持L1A,老婆持L2,我们EB1-C类485已交四个月,EAD和AP都已经拿到,绿
卡有望在半年之内拿到。L1A至少还可以用3年(包括延期)。
豁免: 我知道大部分州都有cottage food law,但是我们卖的是fermented food,明文
写的不被包含,所以我觉得应该是豁免不了证件。

我是fresh PHD。PHD期间做的项目主要是开发一个efficient experimental design
method,并用它来实施 microbial culture process development and/or
fermentation optimization方面的实验 。算来,断断续续地找工也有大半年了,可是
,目前为止,也只有3个公司的面试(其中一个是大公司,虽然经过了2轮的phone
interview并onsite了,但这个公司最后还是决定要了另一个experienced candidate;
至于另外那两个面试,与我所做的东西不大吻合,所以一个拒了我,另一个至今还没下
文)。
我知道自己没有经验,投出去的简历,绝大多数都是石沉大海。想要通过HR那一关,拿
到phone interview极其困难。不知有没有什么办法提高被面试的机会?如果你知道

different byproducts (google for the names). These byproducts contributes
into the taste of your beer or sake or in this case "jiu jiang". Different
yeast, diffrent temperature will all contribute into how much byproducts or

我这里的scale up是指大量生产的方法,不一定是化学方法,很多时候是从一个可以大
量提取的天产中间体出发,比如大环内酯类药物
taxol在有fermentation之前也不是全合成的,是从同种的一种树的树叶里提取的中间体
经过若干步(<10)的半合成,holton卖给BMS卖了不少钱,FSU的新化学楼就靠这个建的
fermentation固然好,但也有很大局限性,基本上就天产那几类的东西能靠
fermentation生产出来(比如viagra就很难),产量也是问题,taxol也是筛了很久才
找到合适的,近几年才换的fermentation,那个plant cell在90年代就发现了,但也是
近几年bms才claim现在taxol是全部fermentation生产的,但也不cheap(产量的原因)

酵较快。Lager较现代大规模,酵母放在灌最底层,在凉爽温度下发酵(bottom-
fermenting),用的时间也就相对长,几个月时间。

single most important factor is cleaning. you need to wash your fermenter
with bleach or starsan. then you need to add the malt and yeast, control
your temperature between 65 to 80 F. after two weeks, check your fluid
density by a hydraumeter, which will tell you the alcohol content. if the
content is stable, your fermentation process is complete. clean your
