ok, a few things:
1. low rpm is generally bad for your knee, thus the minimum of 60rpm.
however, many of us consider 60rpm already too low. but you should know the
rpm standard is different for sitting and standing. naturally people will go
10 rpm slower when they stand up while maintaining the same levels of
exertion. so I advise a minimum rpm of 70 for standing and 85 for sitting.
lower rpm for standing is ok because you have less bend in the knee, which
makes it ok for higher knee pressure.

ok, bouncing only refers to side and/or updown upper body and hip movement
when sitting.
when standing, the correct form is called "dance on the pedal." so upper
body shouldn't be isolated. side to side movement is helpful to smoothly
shift weight to different legs. and up and down movement helps to exert
greater force on the pedals by pulling up your handle bar. see this, the

It’s all just a blur now.
The trail is quiet. For miles there is not a person to be seen.
The clouds are still heavy but the rain has tampered off.

You exert too much pressure on the knees with high gear on the climb. Not
good to the knees in the long run. The key is to increase the cadence in a
gear with a proper pressure on your legs that you are feeling comfortable
with. I read research before that said all conditions the same, low gear
with high cadence are more efficient than high gear with low cadence. I feel
so, at least the muscle on the legs wouldn’t feel tired so easily.

Thanks a lot for your recommendations!
Sigma Rox 6.0 provides more than what I need.
As a senior WSN, I always search for economic solutions. For now, a cadence/
speedometer is good enough because as a bike commuter, I'm quite familiar
with the route. Strava App will provide solution for other needs.
I'm not quite convinced an HRM is really that necessary. I'd like to follow
Perceived Exertion Scale to monitor how intense a workout is.

嗯, 刚开始举铁的时侯我乱呼一气, 弄得很狼狈. 最大的错误就是在深蹲最下面的时候
呼了气, 搞得怎么都起不来.
大部分力量练习都是在跟gravity作斗争(或者叫exerting force)的时候呼气, 反之吸
气. 但是lift里面有有些不同.
我自己是这样呼吸的:
BP, OP, Squat - 杆子最上面的时候吸一口气, 憋住, 到杆子开始往上走到一半或者到
头了呼气. OB第一次从胸前举起前吸气.
DL则相反, 抓杆的时候吸, 憋到杆下降快到膝盖时呼. Barbell Row和DL类似. 也有人
在硬拉前站着的时候吸, 整个rep憋住, 到整个动作完了呼. 后者的好处就是站着的时
候比前者弯腰时候吸的气能更多点, 能更好的保护脊椎.

right. You really need to push yourself, reach 90-95% heart rate zone. Your
exertion should be 8-9 out of 10.
Some people only do hiit when they have a coach/pt/partner, because they

I had helluva performance today, absolutely pushed to my limit and totally
spent at the end.
I am fully satisfied today, and very happy, can't ask more!
No wall, but my calves started to give me trouble signal at 35k, they were
about to cramp. I was like dancing on a thin line, had to be absolutely
balanced, so the muscles didn't need any extra exertion. Unfortunately,
when the muscles are about to cramp, you can't push any further. Anyway, I
managed no cramp and tried my best not to drop the pa

觉得一般说累(perceived exertion)指跑的过程中,疲劳是形容跑完以后的感觉。
week day,不管easy还是speed work,只要里程不超过8迈,我觉得跑完2、3个小时后
,疲劳的程度都差不多,区别只是跑的过程中,speed work明显感觉累。

一下8-8.5 mph。跑得时候感觉没有什么明显的区别,疲劳程度相似,就是呼吸的速度
不一样。
