that content is not encrypted. Published movie is usually encrypted data. In
theory the "ripping/re-coding" is fine but before you can do that you have

我从auction买了一个工作站，看机型指标不错，拿回来一看，安装了mcafee endpoint
encryption软件，里面的用户名和密码我一无所知，我打算重装系统把硬盘重新格式
化就可以让这个工作站为我所用。结果发现WINDOW安装盘根本无法启动，还是原来的XP
系统，我估计就是mcafee endpoint encryption软件加密了整个硬盘不让我重装系统，
这样可以起到保护数据也不丢失数据的目的，这样一来，问题的重点就是如何格式化一
个安装了mcafee endpoint encryption的电脑，只有彻底格式化硬盘，我才可以重装系
统，我试着用dban这样的软件，ISO光盘塞进去启动也不管用，请教大人有什么高见？

would be pointless If you don't care about others seeing everything you do
online, then wireless encryption would be unnecessary. If you run SSH or VPN
over Wi-Fi all the time, then wireless encryption would be "wasteful".

investigation, the original Xbox security is based on a symmetric key
encryption of boot loader, and then boot loader encrypts the kernel.
the encryption of boot loader was done by a very small boot block, which is
stored in a chip. but the block has to be transported to CPU to be executed.
while the block is transported onto CPU through bus, the author monitored
the bus through hardware and got the block (including key). |

在两个以至多个在美国的Skype clients之间的通信非常流畅，qq视频和wechat视频图
像跳帧和声音质量都明显差劲。
但同一时间和中国国内的Skype client通信的效果就倒过来了，Skype视频卡得很厉害
，而且经常莫名其妙断线，需要去掉video切换到audio-only的通信状态。我判断是因
为Skype用end-to-end encryption保护两个IP节点间的traffic，GFW对encrypted
traffic不能完全封锁，但加了流量限制，所以skype时使用video，流量较高触发了GFW
的某些反应，audio-only流量降了一个数量级就没事。
总而言之，无论是baidu，qq/wechat现在还都和中国政府一样，关起门来是无可争议的
老大，因为有一些商业壁垒外面竞争对手们进不来。但出国门失去了商业壁垒的保护就
