both cars are stock and has the same driver. ITR has 20% less HP but is also
20% lighter.
On curves ITR may even be advantageous. On straight line there should be no
match.
But for $13k I think one can get S2000 already. |

bigger, the car had to have a longer wheelbase, which ruins driving dynamic.
it is a tradeoff.
so u got a e90 regardless the small back seat, right? u didn't pick 5 even
though it has bigger back seats. |

有一个例子,论坛上人说的,靠不谱靠谱不知.
话说e36 m3用10w-60的机油,e46 3系出来后,全线用的都是10w-30还是5w30,所以e46 m3
也跟着用了一段时间10w-30,后来01'-02' model M3出了很多engine问题,于是bmw马上
要求m3改换为10w-60. 其实后来发现跟机油完全无关,是制造缺陷,engine零件casting
的砂没清干净.
但后来m car也就一直沿用10w-60没改回去. 如果没这事,说不定m car也就继续用10w30
了. |

snow). If your rear suspension mount tears, you will hear rattling from the
trunk when you hit a bump. Fix is about $3-400. Not sure about cooling
system because none of my mechanic tell me anything about it. I assume it is
fine. It is important to find a good mechanic that knows BMW. Mine are all
racing BMW cars or in racing crew, so they know a lot about BMW cars.

I got what you mean.
the boss of the shop I normally go to is a HongKong guy races with a M3, so
he should be familiar with BMWs...
and he's been pretty honest, sometimes diagonise for free and suggests me to
DIY instead of spending more money to let him do it.
so that would be OK.
the problem is, even the price is fair, if the car needs to be repaired too
often, it's still a lot of money.

replaced the cooling system lately, u don't have to worry about it there.
same thing for rear trailing arm bushing. mine didn't give me too much
trouble so far.
