manlycz的一贴的确让“很多人”受益，君不见前几天所有搞到Voucher的id都兴奋的跟
猴一样（包括我自己）。发帖的时候都说：排队买AmEx的前后左右乌泱乌泱都是老中。
。。你有没有想过很多“老中”受益的同时也损害了很多在mall里面真正消费的顾客的
利益？当那个拿着$1700的Macy's Receipt的大妈被结帐的Cashier送到Concierge而换
不到Sea World的时候，指责我的人们有没有“感觉不很舒服”或者是感到“羞耻”？
当你们对我的“商人之举”“感觉不很舒服”的时候，有没有想过这只不是五十步在笑
一百步？这中间“非常大”的差距就是五十步和一百步的差距而已。自己屁股不干净还
来指责我的，被揭了老底不要恼羞成怒。

的经历谈谈个人看法。
1.都说烙印做得高靠无耻，你无耻一个做到SVP/EVP给我看看，我看很多老中也够无耻
的，不是还是在下面混。。。贬低别人总是很容易的。
2. 在学校学的好需要的book smart，无非是记忆力，理解力等，到industry混靠的是
streetsmart，skillset完全不同，如果希望在industry混的好，需要调整自己的focus。
我忘了谁说的了，好像是个犹太人，说应该让每个小孩都到hotel门口去做1年
concierge，
学习怎么看人说话，这个说的当然比较极端，但其实从混社会的角度来讲挺有道理。
3.看到有人抱怨老中不提拔自己人，其实我看到还是有很多中国人很愿意帮助中国人的
，其实在公司里混，当领导的是孙子，下面人大不了甩手不干了，领导在有决策权（看
上去很风光的同事），其实还有干很多给下面人clean shit的活，其实很不好干。其实
提拔人也是有成本的，有些老中根本不是这块料，你叫人家咋提，而且还没提两天，就
开始要着要那，给人感觉很不上路。

有一年刚好有机会去看，但旅馆的 concierge 说那时候已经弄不到黄牛票了，就算有
也贵得吓死人。不过在新年前两天，在维也纳的另一个音乐厅，同样是维也纳爱乐，同
样的曲目演出一场（算是彩排，我猜），他说我可以去听那场。不过因为时间不凑巧，
最后也未去成。自己参加抽签买票的机率不高，而且要提早一年，最稳妥省事的是参加

around.
I would suggest you do not rent a car, stay in DC downtown area, you can fly
to reagan and take a taxi to hotel.
Taxi is very cheap and plenty in DC (around 7000), the maximum fare with in
the city is $19.
If money is not a issue, stay at the four seasons, their concierge service
is very good, well worth the price of the hotel, especially when you have
baby and old parents with you.
