发帖数: 1 | 1 首先说明下我的情况，我的J1签证和DS2019上都已标明"not subject to 2-years
residence requirement"，本以为就万事大吉了，但是一月底所在单位有个转H1b机会
希望我能马上开始，跟intl office的负责人沟通过才知道有可能是当时签证时候签证
官犯了本质性错误，建议我马上同时提交advisory opinion和waiver申请，如果真的不
subject顶多损失了申请费，如果真的subject也不耽误时间。
先贡献上我的timeline，具体情况后面会详写，有需要参考的同学可以往后看。
中国大使馆/纽约中心方面：
01/25/2016 已在线提交申请，请尽快邮寄材料。
01/27/2016 收到材料，“J-1签证豁免” 申请已受理。
02/03/2016 请补充材料并更正信息。(DS2019需要延期)
02/09/2016 已更正信息，等待再次审核。
02/10/2016 初审通过，已报送所属使领馆。
03/08/2016 您的“J-1签证豁免” 申请已经您所属使（领）馆教育处（组）审核通过

己的CASE STATUS,总是说‘•Your case can not be found at this time in My
Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again。 以为我的case
number有问题，打电话去TSC问，说还早，他们需要时间把CASE number 输入进去。需
要那么久吗？至少应该是acceptance吧？结果人家只说忙，没搭理我。：（。。。
我看了一下，如果输入SRC1190083800的话，显示的是initial review，再往后就找不

背景：EB1B 收到RFE，要求证明contribution，主要因为我的citation太少，只有三十
几. 在最初准备时， 我以前的律师已经非常好非常认真了，我也是全力以赴，可IO
对我的reference letters还是非常不满，现在靠我和我以前的律师 response RFE，我
也没什么进步，真是凶多吉少。 我也非常绝望，基本放弃了。
非常偶然看到jianbing (煎饼) 的一个帖子，说他的case也弱，他的律师特别好，所以
得材料都是律师写准备的，后来我让他推荐了他的律师，是个美国姑娘，她review我的
case后说她有信心，收费也合理2250刀，唯一的问题是她要求在接受case前全部付费，
case成功已否跟费用无关。
难道美国律师是这样的习惯吗？还是要小心。
我自己是非常想去去试一试的，主要是我的case太弱，花2250刀找一个特别会写作的美
国人帮忙才还是有希望的，否则真是希望渺茫呀。但是总是觉得不安，case过不过都是
一个费用，交了钱律师不好好准备我一点办法也没有，而且这个律师也是网上的朋友推

你通过如否取决于你的CASE在这个OFFICER当天所有处理的CASE中的地位，如果当天这
个OFFICER的所有CASE都不强，那么恭喜你，如果都强，你肯定被拒。
记得当初我的CASE，网上一位同仁被拒，这位同仁当时贴了他的拒信，完完全全是参照
我的CASE写的这个拒信。我的CASE不强，但有特色，比如专利转化等。

次注册这个论坛。因为之前看大家的帖子的时候，我就想，到时候我的case也有结果的
时候至少要上来给大家提供一个data point回报下这个版面。还想如果多点
人来报结果就好了，比较比较背景，心里有个数什么的。所以我知道结果的时候，是真
心特地注册了一个账户来的。
至于我提我的律师，完全是因为我猜有人会好奇，又不是说我的case在那里通过了，人
们就都会跑到那个律所去。我想在这里的大家都是很独立有自己主见的人，不会因为别
人说了个什么，就跑去照做。所以我完全就是提供信息。毕竟如果有人告诉我说他的

然后6-21先收到一邮件 说card in production 之后一小时的样子 又收到一封邮件 说
case reopened for reconsideration of our earlier decision
当时也来发过帖子，貌似也没人遇到过这种情况
想着就等纸质邮件吧，之前EAD卡，各种收据都是3-5天就寄到了，也没着急。
结果三周还没收到，就约了个info pass
surprisingly, 在info pass前一天，收到了纸质邮件，结果里面也是什么都没说，就
说case reopened...但是里面付了一个信，说我们收到消息你改了地址，如果没改，请
尽快通知我们，这封信是和发RFE的 同一个IO签字的。不过看起来我的地址是后贴上去
的，我猜想是之前的信因为这个"改地址" 的乌龙，没寄出来。后来不晓得怎么又找到
我的地址给寄了出来。
想想既然约了info pass就去问问看，这case reopen是啥情况。结果一问还真问出了状
况。

我NSC比这弱，paper 6篇（RFE时才到9篇），citation RFE时才刚到150，也过了。RFE
的IO还要求thousands of citations。回复RFE后也过了。
想起最初申请时，觉得自己case弱，到版上找标题党“弱case”参考，结果发现就没有
弱的case。还是一位前辈说的好，citation上100了case就不算弱，非要把自己的强
case说成，弱、极弱，当弱case处理，那才是真的弱。。。 |

touch case之类的，这些touch在last updated 或者 case history下面会有显示不
我还没去做infopass，很难约啊。目前查网上状态显示我的case last updated 是6.15
，所以想了解一下，是不是代表6.15之后就没人管这个case，或者case被touch过但是
网上状态last updated不显示。要是后者的话，那就只能infopass才能问出来case自从
6.15起有没有进一步动静了 |

当时告诉我说case在10月11号的时候已经assign给IO了，我想着那就应该快了。结果等
了一个月一点消息都没有。10月底找congressman帮忙催了一下，当时移民局回信里说
“case is being reviewed and processed.”议员助理说这就是最后阶段了，如果45
天没结果再找他。结果今天打电话给tier2确认是否Assign给IO了，得到结果说确实
Assign了，但是是11月8号才刚刚assign的，并不像INFOPASS里说的是10月11号，两个
地方给出的assign的时间差了将近一个月。不知道是这两个地方的信息有差别还是说
assign给IO两次。
结合之前做的几次INFOPASS和Tier2的电话，感觉USCIS的处理过程和披露的信息都很混
乱。
1.今年年初第一次做INFOPASS就被告知已经Assign给IO了，过了一段时间再问说是

。今年3年收到体检RFE，提交response后没能来得及绿，4月EB1大退。7月EB2排期到了
，立即relink并且联系议员催绿，收到这个回复：

是我开始想到了case when，觉得应该很容易实现，不过stuck在 =null 和is null这个
地方了。
结合yhangw 的提议，我把我第二个 case when稍改写了一下就完全可以了。

这个例子本身用case when意义不大，一个or就可以替代。

发帖数: 62 | 32 刚好最近研究了一下，试着回答你的问题，纯属个人经验，如果有误请见谅。
1.听说consulting公司面试的时候要求现场做case，那要是其他公司呢
我只对MBB有经验，其他的不清楚不敢乱说。
对于像MBB这类management consulting公司来说，是的，面试一般分三次（难度逐级升
高），其中一般至少两次里面有case。用以观察inteviewee的逻辑以及分析问题的能力
等。这需要很强的口语和应变能力，当然通过训练是可以提高的。
一般普通的公司好像很少做case的，anyway,还是根据工作的性质来，consultant面试
要求case是因为他们以后每天都得碰到。
除了case,还有智商测试题，最后还有behave question那就跟一般面试雷同了。
如果你对consulting感兴趣，建议你看一本叫case in point的启蒙书。
最后我得提醒一句，Consulting应该是MBA最喜欢的职业之一了，但是光鲜亮丽的背后
是长时间的工作以及meet deadline的压力.个人认为这是年轻精英的市场。 |

1。pre-employment case, 我在结束问病史和查体后，出房间后写的是 和其case一样
的全病例？
还是只填 病人提供的体检表？
2。电话case, 因为没有查体，不是很早就可以从房间出来写病例了？时间依然是15min
在房间内？
10min写病例吗？
3。我记得很久以前，看到过有的CASE，病人想疯了一样歇斯底里，我在FA 和 UW 都没
有看到类似的
CASE， 请问它的诊断是精神分裂？还是什么？

，觉得收获很大，后面慢慢的把自己的学习笔记贴出来，后面的同学看了可以少犯些我

从今天开始，每星期我会上一个case。 周一history, 周二physical， 周三initial
labs/work up, 周四additional work-up, 周五final diagnosis. 欢迎大家跟贴讨论

I can't vouch for this case myself as I do not own it, but the 2 reviews on
their web site are positive. It looks like a high quality case.

I don't think this is a repost, but it was hard to do a proper search as

the leather cases, and nearly all the Touchpad cases are variations of
