谁说lehigh的msa比case好？
这是错误的。无论从cpa report还是项目名声，case的msa都远比lehigh的好。lehigh
本科强，但是研究生院完全不如case，商学院排名更是不如case。
不过lehigh的这个项目的确满便宜的，我记得每个学分比case便宜很多阿。case是有名
的贵。
不过case在cleveland，城市不错。lehigh虽然离费城不远，但本身在一个小乡村。
我是客观讲哈。

其实我personally更喜欢lehigh。不喜欢case。是我就去lehigh……呵呵……

早上提前到了，好多人等在法庭门外。门一开，大家都进去了。以前没到过法庭，赶紧
拿手机照了几张照片。找地方坐下了。法庭警察开始讲话，大意是，不许照相,video，
不许玩手机，没读instruction的赶紧读一下 (不清楚具体他用的什么词，就是一页写
有你的权利的纸)，法官会问你读没读过。你要读过才能继续。还有一些比如请翻译什
么的。
这里需要介绍一下背景。加州政府缺钱，每个ticket都是好几百。你有三个选择，
guilty, no contest 和 contest。 guilty 和 no contest 基本一样，就是交钱。不
一样的是，no contest不算认罪，只不过是你懒得和他们理论了。contest的话，法院
要传票(sbupoana)警察，警察这次是不在的，要再约时间，你赢了的话就没事了，输的
话交全额罚款，而且不能上traffic school。有一点很好，不管赢输，不用交额外传票
警察的费用。之前网上看警察出庭会得到$200补助，所以警察一般会来。

case，我说是你的问题，fedex无法deliver给你，我可以退钱但是要扣邮费，病人说可
以，我说你开case的时候claim的是full refund，我没法部分退款，病人close了case
，重新开了一个NAD的case，我offer部分退款，病人agreed的，我以为ebay会自动退款
就没管了，过了若干天病人突然升级了这个case说还没收到退款，这个时候我如果再点
refund从case里面只能是full refund了，从pp里也不行，这整笔钱已经被hold住了，

case number A填了领事馆的申请材料。单位律师帮我准备waiver application form的
时候没有填入这个case number A，而是用了系统自己生成的case number B。这样就照
成中国大使馆那边有的我的case number和我交给DOS的申请表的case number不同。我
感觉这个是个大问题，要求律师重新帮我准备DOS那边的表格，但是律师说没事，我想
问问大家的建议。
此外，DOS的那个网上申请表格是可以申请多次的吧，只要表格没有签名寄出，DOS那边
应该就还不会收到任何申请吧。所以我的case只要重新生成下DOS的申请表是不是就可
以了。

绝对多数的状态都是 acceptance 或者 initial review,
而且进入6月以后， 只有一个case状态有更新
而且绝对多数485 case之后都跟着 131 和 765 的 case, 像是 3个一组， 131 和 765
都早早批了
请问这种情况像是Eb1 case 落到一堆EB2 case 中吗？ |

发帖数: 2 | 25 我是生物学博士，SCI文章10篇，独立引用约85次，给两个小杂志审稿6次。知道自己的
CASE很弱，但因为多方面原因我们 还是决定试试EB-1A而且办理加速（PP）。我们属于
NSC中心，听说通过率低，觉得没什么把握， 决定先不请律师，DIY试一下。觉得审稿
数太少，所以就申请了四项：Authorship、Contribution、Judge others' work和
media report。
材料寄过去后发现PETITION LEETER 没有签名，第二天立即用overnight补寄了材料。
过了两天得到LIN号，终于可以要网上查状态了。听说服务器每天晚上刷新，但事实上
是实时的。在焦急的等待了十四天后，我的状态变成了initial review,在下午时更新
成了RFE。我们留了学校的传真号，所以当天就拿到了RFE文件。根据文件所述，至于
media report，IO 对网上的报道表示质疑，而且虽然有我的名字，但没有谈及我个人
经历。另外Contribution缺乏实际的例子而且引用率低于本行业十年平均水平。只有

觉得你还是应该根据自身的情况挖掘闪光点。如果跟做理科的比，工科，文科的都没法
活了。
理科，比如做纳米的，1篇文章被引用个几百上千次都不算什么，google一下纳米那几
个牛人，引用都是以”万“计算的。徒子徒孙都各个28岁就千次以上引用。
而你是高工，5年经验，你的研究成果已经形成专利，甚至成果，为公司和你的领域带
来实在的经济效益了。
举个可能不太恰当的例子：爱迪生如果和爱因斯坦比引用，爱迪生就哭活过来了。爱因
斯坦如果和爱迪生比专利转化，爱因斯坦头发都能变成离子烫。
爱迪生作为发明家，用电照亮了世界；爱因斯坦作为科学家，他的相对论流芳千古。迪
生和因斯坦都是人类历史上的伟大人物。如果他们两个需要申请EB1A，打法肯定不一样。
从律师角度讲：每个律师都有自己的最大工作限度，我们做一个换位思考。如果你是律
师你接谁的case?
一个科学家，10文章，100引用，10审稿；一个工程师，5文章，1引用，3专利；
科学家的case，换个模板材料一堆数字一改，一个case可以提交了；

背景
化学专业 文章 5篇，其中英文4篇，只有一篇一作，最高影响因子大概6左右。总引用
85，没有区分独立引用。引用最高的一篇文章来自一篇二作，有一个专业杂志
highlight。审稿15篇。
2012年10月份偶然知道我们公司某哥们拿到了绿卡，公司支持的EB1B。于是，我兴冲冲
的跑到人事部咨询，被告知只要你够条件，我们都支持。然后在网上咨询律师，律师说
EB1B有resonable chance。于是，把律师的评估发给人事部看，人事部立马翻脸，期间
来回苦苦哀求几个月，都没有答应。我们公司只是个小公司，还因此惹公司的大老板不
高兴，最后人事部建议在我H1b过期的最后一年也就是第6年给我支持绿卡。
没有办法，于2013年重新问律师能不能办EB1A,律师连信都没有回。。。
最后总算下了决心跟律师签了NIW。推荐信就准备了大半年，最后一封实在写得想
吐了。期间还大病了一场，绿卡的事情耽搁了好几个月。最后终于写好了，发给律师修
改。律师效率相当高，文笔也不错，也很认真，修改后的推荐信我相当满意。我后面提

历经8个月，无RFE。
Case claim老三样，case不弱也不是特别强。publication 10+，有一作CNS；有几十个
媒体报道；review 了十几篇文章，数目不多但是IF基本在5-20之间，没问editor要过
review，都是这些年同行邀请的；提交的时候citation 300多。
提交的时候律师说NSC 140基本4个月就批了，最慢也就是半年，当时觉得不着急，就没
pp。事实上NSC压根不是这样，从去年6月开始的case来看，PP的很快就处理了，没有PP
的在4个月的时候有一个高峰，在处理到50%左右的case的时候就慢下来，然后case就稀
稀拉拉地慢慢处理。最后我的case 8个月处理还是靠SR催来的。当然，我应该算是运气
不太好的那一类，我的case approve的时候当天同时提交140的已经处理了90%。虽然处
理的中位数是大概5个月，但是放到每个人身上悲喜是完全不一样的。假如时间可以重

时松了一口气。为鼓励跟我case差不多的战友们，一向很懒的我决定码一下我的经历以
及申请timeline：

-签约时间：2016年6月底；

待分配
借这个帖子，大概说一下我了解的NSC的 485 procedure。
485 file之后，会分给officer。哪怕PD retro了， officer也会处理case，这是所谓
pre-adjudicate。但是PD 如果retro，case处理了会放回storage room。 NSC 的
storage building好像在Star Building（或者Denney Building？），跟NSC officer
办公的地方Highland Building有10 mile左右。每天有专车运输各种文件往返。 485
的材料在stoarge里面是按PD放的，据介绍全是高至天花板的大架子。每个case都有专
门的牛皮纸file folder，所有相关的资料都是从上面打孔，用金属的条穿过孔眼，订
在一起的。等排期重新C了，工作人员把所有的case都运回Highland Building，放到这
里的小storage架子上。

1st it was not very clear what the chief complaint is. When you actually
look at the patient, you can tell her eyes are not normal. But with what you
mentioned in the case, you say vaginal bleeding, nausea, eyes roll up, then
say anxious, apathy, and look up in the ceiling. This confused me that, is
that because the patient is apathy and avoid eye contact, or there is

早上提前到了，好多人等在法庭门外。门一开，大家都进去了。以前没到过法庭，赶紧
拿手机照了几张照片。找地方坐下了。法庭警察开始讲话，大意是，不许照相,video，
不许玩手机，没读instruction的赶紧读一下 (不清楚具体他用的什么词，就是一页写
有你的权利的纸)，法官会问你读没读过。你要读过才能继续。还有一些比如请翻译什
么的。
这里需要介绍一下背景。加州政府缺钱，每个ticket都是好几百。你有三个选择，
guilty, no contest 和 contest。 guilty 和 no contest 基本一样，就是交钱。不
一样的是，no contest不算认罪，只不过是你懒得和他们理论了。contest的话，法院
要传票(sbupoana)警察，警察这次是不在的，要再约时间，你赢了的话就没事了，输的
话交全额罚款，而且不能上traffic school。有一点很好，不管赢输，不用交额外传票
警察的费用。之前网上看警察出庭会得到$200补助，所以警察一般会来。

写了OPEN CASE 1,是PENDING的。
最近15天也有些CLOSED CASE. 点连接，也不能显示CLOSED CASE.很奇怪。
都显示We're sorry, but we're unable to show all of your cases at this time.

searching by a case ID可以看到我的CASE。
以前没这问题。
是不是系统问题，还是我的帐号的问题？

发帖数: 219 | 47 4月初卖了个音箱，买家是菲律宾的，选的是priority mail寄送。
当时打印label的时候，ebay就提醒，说菲律宾查不到最后递送信息，我看买家50+信誉
，（后来证明当时疏忽了，只看了别人给他的评价，没看他给别人的评价。）也没当回
事，就直接买了保险，合计以防万一。
然后5月13号，给我发信息，说东西还没收到。我就回，别担心，我给你买了保险了，
如果丢了你自己联系usps赔吧。（因为国际的priority mail是买家和卖家都可以claim
的。）
14号回复我消息，说他觉得应该卖家来claim。我15号就回复他说，我今天去了邮局，
（其实我没去邮局，就是合计以邮局人的口气，能更有说服力点，不过去了估计也是这
么说，以前去邮局查过类似的。）usps给我查了，显示4月16号就到菲律宾了（usps官
网就能看到），但是在usps系统里查不到最后递送信息，建议买家去当地邮局查下，一
般都能有结果，如果还是不行就让买家去claim，因为东西出美国了，在菲律宾，所以
要买家去。（这个是我瞎编的，我实在不爱给usps打电话弄这个，最少得等半个小时，
再弄保险，一个小时都下不来。）

paying or under garnishment 15
civil warrant ( dead beats ) 11
Case pending due to no-serviceable address 3
Case pending due to defendant in jail 3
Case dismissed due to death 2

我先来起个头，大牛可以补充一下没有想到的。
1. error case：有非法字符 "*1a23"
2. error case：都是合法字符，但是顺序不对 "-12-3"
3. error case：都是合法字符，但是顺序不对 "-0123" "00123"
4. error case: 都是合法字符, 但是overflow，overflow分为两种。"
1991112312312312311231" 和 "-1231231231231231243142132"
5. error case: array == NULL
6. 负值: "-123"
7. 0: "0"
8. -0:"-0" //error maybe
