The pure blood live stocks are result of cross-breeding done long time ago.
Taking only pure blood offspring is to ensure we don't lose the desirable
traits in later cross breeding.
In human, we can't take only the offspring with good desirable traits.
Therein lies the problem. |

神户牛是被关起来喂肥的，吃干草、稻梗、大豆、包米、大麦和糠等等杂食。都不是有
机喂养的。美国大部分牛也是喂差不多一样的杂食，这样的牛肉是最便宜的。相比之下
美国草地上放养的牛（尤其是奶牛）应该健康快乐多了。我不知道美国其它地方，加州
有很多在草地上放养的牛。我开101从湾区去南加，很多次看到这样被喂养的牛。还有
靠东湾那边的大山里也有不少在外面养的牛。加州有很多草地，旱季的时候很容易发生
火灾。Stanford大学过去还请过私人把牛羊放到它后面大片的山地里去吃干草。这样
grass-fed出的牛肉都是很贵的，有的比一般牛肉贵几倍。

could be said for mental qualities (genius and talent). Social morals
needed to change so that heredity was a conscious decision in order to avoid
both the over-breeding by less fit members of society and the under-

美国、北欧的大部分奶牛breeds是A1牛奶，其他地方的奶牛（亚、非洲、南欧大部分
breeds)和所有其他哺乳动物(羊、人）产的milk是A2. 没有完全证明的hypothesis说，
A1 milk跟心脏病、一型糖尿病、自闭症、精神分裂症有关联。
我看了Woodford的Devil in The Milk第一章，看不动了，来简单报告一下，如果感兴

wonder how much space and how much labor it would take to take care of them.
Not mentioning you would have to sell them when they are young. Once they
go beyond 2-3 months old, they are pretty much worthless.
There are reasons why 大型的宠物店 like Petsmart and Petco do not sell dogs
or cats for their main business.

Many dogs are working breeds. And they do work as therapy dog, self-
protection dog etc. Depending on how much training the owners are able to
provide.
China has famous "companion" breed of dogs such as Shizu etc.They don't do
anything other than make their owners happy. That's all it matters. You get
what you ask for.
