今天收到appraisal report，上面竟然写着这个房子收到33个offer，
估价还比我们的contract价还高了$8000. |

sd的房子算便宜的了。而且越大，多出来的面积越便宜， 2000 sqft和3000sqft
的价格差别并没有2:3那么大。 多花一点点钱， 能多买很多面积， 住得舒服
很多。 我以前租过1200sqft的3b/2b, 虽说麻雀虽小， 五脏俱全，
可是卧室房间小，三间分别为10x10， 9x10, 9x9的， 房顶低， 感觉不舒服。
现在的主卧很大， 不止20x20, 其他卧室都是12x12, 室内space大了
很多，感觉舒服多了。 好在刚来sd的时候没有all in买房， 看了几次房，
房价高，利息高， 就觉得还是租房算了。等了几年，用原来预算的同样的钱
多买了1000多sqft. 主要还是占了大房的每sqft价格低的好处。
而且那时候买房没人抢， 不用参加price biding war. |

1. If renting cost less than buying a house, don't spend too much time
trying to find a house to buy.
2. If rent is higher than we would like to pay, then give our-self one year
of time to move to low cost city.
It seems the plan is still good, We did not need to update the plan.
I know why we were out-bided -- We tried to find a good deal, other people
buying a house is to purchase their dream.

肯定能很enjoy，carve一般般，mogul也凑合，park有点重，我当时买的demo般，就是
那种一般的可以调节的biding. 所以看你的期望是什么。我觉得有钱烧的话还是买
special ski比较好，所以估计需要4副板：powder, mogul,carve, and park :)
如果你不愿意烧钱，有不是专门奔着powder去的话，我强烈推荐我的head mojo 80 or 90, very good performance so far in almost every terrain, 就是base比较容易伤，当然我用的也有点狠 ：） |

些参考。
我们一个月前才开始计划这次夏威夷之旅，所以没有找到什么便宜的机票。在查询了各
个网站的价格后，最后发现United自己的网站上最便宜，两人共1150 （含税），东部
起飞，芝加哥转机，non-stop 到Kahului (OGG)。以往在美国国内飞，我也注意到如果
订票晚的话，这时往往航空公司自己的网站票价会其他网站还便宜。然后就开始找旅馆
，最后在expedia上订了一个hotel+car的package，一共1100，旅馆是Kauhale Makai (
condo)，车是budget的convertible。 没有去bide，因为希望找个view比较不错的旅馆
。不过后来才发现这个旅馆门前的海水是被污染过的，不能游泳，不过风景还可以，坐
在阳台上就可以看日落，早上可以看见太阳从Haleakala山顶升起。还有一个好处，房
间里有齐全的海滩装备，沙滩椅，冲浪板，遮阳伞等。这个旅馆在kihei，属于maui的
西南部，Kihei的特点就是好的海滩比较多，气候干燥。虽然天气预报老说有小雨， |

楼主看来对语言还是有一定认识的.
北方话的两个主要缺陷都在这个表里反应出来了:
1. 没有真正的浊辅音: b, d, g 在普通话里都是次清 (不送气清音), 相当于英语的
sp, st, sk 里面 p,t,k 的发音. 所以模仿英文的时候必须降调. 例如 bbs 北方人读
作 "避避癌司". 还有就是没有 z 只有 dz, 所以他们读 zoo 都是 dzoo , zealot 都
是
dzealot.
2. 缺少很多单元音, 只能用双元音模拟. 例如 e, 用 ai 模拟. o 用 ao 模拟. bed
他们能说成 bide. 短元音i相当于吴语的入声ik, 北方只能用长元音 i: 模拟, 结果
if 变成了衣服.
我刚到美国的时候吓了一跳, 怎么北方人(包括云南之类的北方话地区)说英语是如此奇
