I suggest you forget about timing the market all together. Switching from
100% bond to 100% equity now is as good as waiting for the market to sell
off in the summer. They are purely just guesswork and personal opinions,

For cash, there are a few choices, RMB, $, uro, yen, etc, or cash funds.
For bond, there are funds for it.
For stocks, there are funds for it.
There are also asset allocation funds.
I mean 3 is orthogonal to others.
But you are right, asset allocation, is very personal.
For the impact of rebalance, it depends on the sum asset one has.
For 2M, 0.5% per year, it is 10K per year and 100K for 10 years.

前一阵子蒙Luckyjim推荐电影《Margin Call》，找来看过，觉得非常不错，可以拿来
骗包子。跟奥斯卡的联系嘛，可以说有以下几项：
首先，演员之一的Kevin Spacy，可是两届奥斯卡得主，应该是可以跟奥斯卡挂上钩；
其次，这个电影的题材，关于华尔街，自然会想到奥利弗•斯通的1987年的经典
《华尔街》，当然也是奥斯卡片，所以拿来骗包子算是名正言顺，云云……
当然，我喜欢这个电影的原因之一是喜欢这个电影的题材，华尔街和金融。我原先对于
这个题材并不感兴趣，就算是看过了斯通的《华尔街》以后，也没有感兴趣起来，原来
在中国学理工的时候总是对于金融很不屑。真正对于这个题材开始感兴趣，还是在读过
