apartment complex, which looks very price competitive. However,it seems that
the safety is a big issue in this area.
The one I am looking for is one bedroom apartment; the price will be above
950 if you want to find a better studio or one bedroom apartment. For the
price below 950, you have to pay electricity (The window AC is used in those
apartments. The bills will higher especially in Winter).

When I relocated here six years ago, I lived in Harbor Steps, which is very
nice. If you don't have a family, I suggest you to negotiate and get at
least 45 or 60 days of corporate apartment. You'll be working a lot (Amazon
is a sweat shop, but you will learn a lot.)

说一下我这一个星期看到过得5个apartment, 给后来人一个映象:
1. Moorings in league city:
还不错的apartment, 比较小, 靠着湖,但是没什么小孩玩的地方. 价格偏贵, 两室一厅
1200左右 (2011), 比较紧凑.
2. Preserve
也很不错, 建在原始森林里面, 没有草地,都是天然林,比较适合散步. 价格中档, 两室
一厅900块左右. 房子比较旧了,但是内部翻新过,还不错. 可以散步.
3. Palms
典型的高档apartment, 1200左右, 里面的湖和游泳池很漂亮. 缺点是地方很小,父母没
地方散步,孩子没有地方玩.
4. Regatta
不错的apartment, 价格很好, 两室一厅居然给我打折到了600出头. 内部也还可以. 但

事先一点都不知道有这回事

停车位不够，然后只能停在reserved，被拖走。都快疯了。
不知大家有啥建议么？发现reserved的位置还很多。apartment说你可以买reserved的
，一个月多50块钱。感觉是apartment和拖车公司联合搞居民，故意让停车位不够，让
大家去买reserved的。我能不能去啥地方投诉一下apartment？当时签约时他都保证了
我们能有足够的停车位的。

到一个office guy签名，这些我都可以在ups.com上看到整个流程。
但是我去apartment office拿包裹的时候，office guy说找不到包裹了，我给他看了
ups.com上的签名，他说名字是他的，但是他也忘了那天是不是他签收的。他说等明后
天ups driver再来的时候，他要问driver当时是不是没有给他包裹。
我打电话给ups，ups说需要lenovo来要求package trace，我打电话给lenovo，lenovo
说ups上显示已经deliver了，让我再去apartment office找。
我现在不知道该怎么办，大家给出个主意？这个lenovo laptop是花了900大洋买的啊。 |
