关于历史和现实。前阵子看公孙龙子，再次被其博大精深的思想体系震撼：
“物莫非指，而指非指”：概念（旨）由而且只能由具体事物（物）定义，不能由其他
概念定义 --- 一句指物论的开篇，概括了Plato的The Forms的全部构架！
“天下无指者，生于物之各有名，名不为指也”：凡人无法掌握概念（Plato说凡人无
法理解The Forms）；当然人类对任何事物都有自己的观察和理解（名），但是人类的
理解（名）和真实的本质（指）是两回事 --- 这简直是Plato's Allegory of the
Cave的直叙。而Allegory of the Cave被Aristotle翻过来，就是科学方法论的雏形！
。。。。。。
也许公孙龙子散失的篇章里有比Allegory of the Cave更精彩的具体解说，也许宋妍的
理解甚至超过了Aristotle（宋据说也给“道”分类了，不知是否是按照物理生物数学

小说有很多种分类，有武侠类，科幻类，奇幻类，历史小说，神仙传奇，浪漫小说，文
学小说，等等。分类以后，方便了读者，也方便了作者，同时书店和图书馆也可以省不
少麻烦。每种分类的作品，当然都有某种共性，久而久之，这种共性就成了传统，就成
为了格式。格式化以后，往往就成了某种八股文一样的共性，就抑制了创新，特别是武
侠，科幻，爱情小说一类的，久而久之，就背上了一个包袱，为“文学”人士所不齿，
写这类小说的作家就有了stigmata，这个在科幻和浪漫小说中尤其显著，当年科幻大师
Isaac Asimov就写过好多为科幻作品的地位的辩护文章。
直到现在，对于类型(Genre)作品的偏见还是很多，对于科幻，奇幻和神怪小说的偏见
在“文学”作品的评论家里面还是根深蒂固。这帮人看见科幻，奇幻和浪漫作品，也就
一撇嘴，一副Snob的模样。这帮人所欣赏的，所谓的“文学类型”的作品，literary
fiction，这是一个很难定义，也很难划分的类型，反正就是不是那些非常卖座的，大

这在文学理论里面，叫典型化。在犹太－基督教神学里面，叫 allegorization, 比如
旧约的故事，从亚当到约拿，早在公元前1世纪的犹太神学家，亚历山大的Philo 那里

苏东坡更有精妙概括： “事虽未必，理有固然”。
什么叫 “理有固然”，就是说其中有人性 （humanity）在。
另外一个例子就是大家小时候也学过的《最后一课》，虽然是胡编的，但是不影响其伟
大和感人。

毫无疑义，《周易》经传中最有研究意义的是《易传》，它是《周易》成为哲学著作的
物质基础。更是我们研究本体论问题的切入点。
西方哲学中的本体论(Ontology)问题在中国古代传统经学中有无具体的表现，这或许本
不该是研究《易传·系辞》的一种方式。因为在中西哲学之间进行这种基本概念之间的
比照(Comparison-Communication)，是需要在一个比较严密的工具理性进行制约和诠释
基础之后才能开始操作的。但是，完成这一工作目前又是极其困难的。因为中西哲学所
使用的理性表述形式(Rationale Form)并不是建筑在同一个规范化的世界(
Weltorientierung)当中。而且，作为中西哲学成立的自然科学基础，特别是在对外在

一家书店里看到了南师所著的《历史的经验》，简直爱不释手。南师采用“经史合参”
的方法，在描述历史事件的同时点出其中的必然规律。十年前本人去旧金山开会，在一

像一群於不明处浮现出的幽灵，一群暗夜里的梦游者，在当代文化脱序的泛
文明情境中，一种异样、怪诞而又新奇的声音冲入中国人的接受视野─它们来自
於新的摇滚乐队与音乐人，所谓“後崔健群”，首先是一个时间上的划分，即这
一音乐群体晚於中国的第一代摇滚［一般来说，以崔健、王迪和七合板、不倒翁
等乐队为代表］，多为出生於70年代，年龄20岁上下的青年；但更为重要的，这
是一个文化概念：这一音乐群体在美学与社会学的双重维度上体现了与崔健们不
同的文化内涵。在这里，我想借用班哲明的“象徵”与“寓言”的概念来阐释崔
健与後崔健群的区分：这里的象徵［symbol］延续并发展了黑格尔的思想，在此
观念之中，世界是物质与精神的契合，是一个经验的艺术再现的完满自足的封闭
性结构，是人类对於现实世界与符号世界的充满自信的整合，在这象徵的世界
里，形式与内容、个别与一般都被有机的统一在一个完整的体系之中，而此处的
寓言［Allegory］，则既不同於在古典诗学体系中的叙事与寓意的平行显现概念，
亦不同於在中世纪的修辞学与文体学概念，在当代批评话语中，它是班哲明创造

Uffizi艺术馆外面是一个很有名的小广场，Piazza Degli Uffizi, 被四面的建筑围住，实际
上类似一个天井，天井的四周高高地环绕着与佛罗伦斯或者文艺复兴有关的巨匠的大理石雕
像。面部以及服装细节十分写实，不仅感觉像真实的人，而且连衣物也充满了对应时代以及性
格特点的细节。从达芬奇开始的众多艺术家，伽俐略开始的众多科学家，好像他们全部活过来
要同台一场戏剧。
在天井的阴凉处，不少兜揽顾主的画家，以及扮作雕像的艺人，有一个艺人扮得不知什么人
物，和上方的雕像风格，颜色像极了，他严肃地一动不动。我以为他是从上面的某个雕像走下
来的。一个扮爱神丘比特的艺人，很聪明地以响亮的飞吻的声音，招来人们的注意，很多情
侣，年龄大的小的，都纷纷与她合影。她也很凑趣，会俯下身一边一个搂住，嘟了嘴作勢亲
吻，给他们爱的祝福，她的小铁罐也就响个不停。其他的'雕像'有些无奈和寂寞，不过都很
cool地坚持自己的风格。

当代研究密教（esotericism）最为杰出的学者之一Wouter Hanegraaff 说，西方文明
的三大要素是：理性、信仰和灵知（gnosis，下文直接译为诺斯底）。理性主义人认为
，真理只能通过理性的方法得知，而理性未涉及到的只能是未知或者不可知的。相反地
，持信仰观点的人认为理性并不能给我们许多问题以终极的答案，而那些终极答案只能
是来自transcendental realm，通过信仰得来的。但是什么是信仰呢？信仰本身被表现

生存的；想像支配了我们一切的生活。人类的脑袋，并非如哲学家所表现的，像一个辩
论厅；而是像一个画廊……若将比喻（修辞表达的一种）自圣经中除去，圣经的活力则
随之消失……先知、诗人、领袖，都是运用比喻的高手，他们藉著形象化的描写掠夺人
