I maintain all my cars as a hobbie so as of 12/2006 @ 82K I did ALL the
inspection II as required. I also have ALL the receipts so show proof of
all activities since then.All fluids are synthetic, new rotors and ceramic
brake pads..etc. When I first acquired the car the original owner had a
close tie to BMW so the subframe was done of which I also have the

Cooling completed on 12/2006
Cooling-Parts came from Bavarian Autosport and have ALL receipts: Water
pump, gasket, pulley, all belts, expansion tank bleeder, radiator cap,
both upper and lower hose, thermostat... all is new and should not have
to be touched for another 70K miles.
Another item that malfunctions are the camshaft position sensor (intake
and exhaust), both were replaced in 11/2007.. also have receipts.

机也耐操.
昨天看着老的XJR也好便宜.虽然长得其貌不扬的,370hp咧,就是修起来估计要痛苦了

I asked you about when was sub frame done because earlier ppl
delt with it with multiple methods. Either patch it with some kind of foam
or put on some kind of reinforcement kit. Not untill later BMW came up with
the repair which replaces the WHOLE subframe. A huge piece got cut out
and new one weld in. That seems to be the best way to repair.
Every seller I delt with before claims they have some sort of connection

错,Motor Week测出来的60-0不过115ft.

发帖数: 3042 | 36 subframe就是钢梁，本身不会坏。大家虽然都叫subframe issue, 但是实际上是和
subframe接触的unibody的部分被撕裂了，这个如果修的不好是非常非常严重的问题，
不仅开起来有问题，连安全性都不能保证。我建议你看看receipt上那家店的名字，然
后做一下research看他们是不是专门修这个问题的。

也有很多7万expansion tank就爆了。据我自己的观察，03以后的water pump好像有改
进，叶片材料从塑料换成了composite, 问题不大。但是expansion tank基本就是个
crap shoot, 如果能挺过80k， 可能就说明你这个质量不错，大概一直都不会坏，否则
可能7万多就爆了。这个可能是supplier的质量控制有问题。
radiator/hose/thermostat, 大家都换，但是极少见到坏的，我觉得其实这些部件的质
量都还不错，大家都换的原因就是换expansion tank的时候反正也要拆下来。。lower
hose很难拆，我觉得根本没必要费力气换，我开过的这么多车里面，从来没换过lower
hose, 从来也没有爆过，因为是冷却水回流的，没什么stress

送。应该
是专业做这个的。

另一头的接口。其它几根管子都还算容易。
最常见的问题是upper hose的接口塑料件受热老化开裂漏液。大概在8万左右，见过几
个了。

结底还是个比较规矩的车，作为family car来说，各方面都很不错，但是也没有什么特
别出彩的地方，不到3升的NA发动机也啥折腾的潜力，你要想做大的改装，选择很少而
且超贵。我要是你，就搞个Camero Z28, Mustang GT, or 300ZXTT, 基本上都是价格便
宜量又足，选择超多，随便改改秒杀街上99%的车。我一直就想搞个300ZXTT来玩，可惜
住apartment没地方。
