say, if you are asking for a H1b transfer, they would require you are
actively employed until the new job started ( no gap).
unpaid may not be considered as "actively employed"
you have to provide proof such as that even though on leave, the company is
still paying for your issuance, blah, blah,
consult a lawyer if that is the case. if you will return before the h1b
transfer, i think it should be no big deal. |
