RENO, Nev. -- As Senate majority leader, Harry Reid stands with President
Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as part of a triumvirate that
rules Washington. But back home in Nevada, the Democratic lawmaker is just
another incumbent with a bull's-eye on his back.
Mr. Reid, 69 years old, is facing mounting criticism in his home state and
is trailing in the polls against two Republican challengers for his Senate
