this gives a good pic of what today's game is.
he's a big pro and friend of phil galfond too. he sat behind durrrr and
watched him play for over a year before (isn't this the thing EV MM wants?
lol).
but, in the end, he admitted he's currently in a big downswing of $1.6M,

One example is SPECUNDER. I used to meet him very times at low level MTT/
Satellite (he plays fulltime from Netherland and once we chat).
Once he got 2500FTP/MTT/Satellite for 240+16 ticket, ran into SUnday Brawl
final table, begged to has deal TIMES(when 7/5/3 ppl left) and none cared,
and won it at the end with 100+K. Now he never looked back(play high-stake
regularly now). I posted this here before. | T*********k

than they are used to be.
and i am just talking about those can't lay down top pair kind of bad.
The super bad, which means calling u down using a under pair or even A high,
are like panda now. you are lucky to find one in a week's playing time.
No easy money. that is what i see it.
the easy money is from live casinos. but again, because we can't play there
everyday and in short term luck dictates so sometime you could lose big to
dummies. lol.

time investment/reward, e.g., we may feel good about winning $500 for a day
there by 1 or 2 hands, but talking about 10 hours or 200 hands? sounds
tiring indeed. plus those days when you have to go home losing $200 or
breaking even, overall is more grinding than online.
online game is pretty dead now, a handful of 3/6 or 5/10 games at most, and
everyone is a shark.

变化，到NL100搞不好还要输。所以现在我有点时间都在catch up Netflix的电影，或
者看看那个Jeff Hwang写的PLO的书，300多页看起来还挺累。

high stakes, there are tons of bad players. the key things is that you have
to learn new game, improve yoursel to a new level. It is not the days that
you can just sit there and wait to get nuts to get paid. NL Holdem ring
game is getting dry now, but there of tons of other opportunity poping up.

level, but now i am pretty much lost interests in playing online.
the local town has a poker room , but it is e-table, which i dislike,
otherwise i have to drive 1 hour to the nearest poker room with real dealers
..
