part to a point that you feel slight stress but not pain. As the pain
decreases day after day, massage the spot harder and harder just to give
some stimulation but not cause further damage. This massage expedites the
recovery quite significantly in my experience. I view the massage as a very
helpful technique for a sports enthusiastic (tennis fan included). It
helps you to identify what exactly the injury is (muscle, ligament,tissue or
bone,etc) and understand your body much better. For a tennis fan, you will
find your hands get stronger and stronger, particularly, if you do a lot
deep tissue massage on yourself, soon enough, you won't complain about the
racket rotating and floating in your hand, hehe....
