The games I won I still would have won, and the games I lost I still would
have lost. :)
I got my MGPM because:
1) It's got a nice paint job and approved by Marat Safin
2) It felt good in my hand and while hitting
3) It was cheap
4) My old PSC6.1 that I had for almost 10yrs is getting severely beat up
I did not get it because it added 2mph to

1632 | 14 Oh yea, DEFINITELY feels different. One racket is stiffer, one racket is
softer...etc. but that difference may be even more significant with
different string setups. My advice is, before deciding to buy a new racket
- change the string set up and see if it gets what you want. Most of the
times that'll get you what you want.
This is often time the issue with demoing racket - when you do buy your own
and use your own string setup - suddenly you feel the racket doesn't play
like when you first

I hope that is based on experience not some 拍脑袋 theory, hehe.
I have used two versions of $18.99 Walmart Wilson Impact - arguably
the best selling Walmart racket ever, LOL - from 2002 to 2006.
I played more often in 2006 and attended a 8-session group lesson,
the first 4 or 5 lessons using this racket. The result: I made
virtually zero progress. This racket, 10.9 oz head heavy, is
not something I could handle and I failed to learn topsp

Can I feel the difference between my MGPM, my PSC6.1, a K90, or a Babolat?
Yes. Is it material to my game? no.
Make no mistake about it - there's a big difference between an ultra-
beginner 10-pt head heavy racket vs. a "players" frame that's more or less
